One problem related to loud engine noise has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Truck does't want to start, it backfires,engine pulls down before starting , power to radio is disrupted, causing radio to reset. Paint starting to crack on hood and roof. Braking system for abs makes a loud noise when pushed had to floor. Radio only plays tapes though one side of speakers.
