Two problems related to underhood wiring have been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Beginning December 2002, vehicle will unexpectedly lose power and lack accelerator response. Code p0123 active and present indicating problem in the throttle position sensor circuit. Sensor replaced and wiring inspected. Problem persists.
Second vehicle received in our department in last three months that had fire in same area.
