While driving 33 mph consumer's vehicle collided with the vehicle in front. Upon impact, both frontal air bags failed to deploy. Driver and passenger sustained minor injuries, and were transported to the hospital. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop.

Vehicle involved in a head on crash with another vehicle on the road already in an accident. . Speed was at 55 mph causing a total loss of 1998 s-10 zr2 truck. . There was extensive damage to the front. . . Of this the air bags never deployed at all the safety belts did not restrain. . Driver suffered chest trauma back,knee,and neck injuries. . . . Chevrolet was called to complain and they did investigation but nothing was resolved. . . .

Made turn on secondary while was raining, another auto was in front passed and slid on wet road. Vehicle hit a utility pole head on , and air bags did not deploy. Auto was smashed badly in front. (may be totaled).

While driving at a speed of approximately 40 mph, a large Chevrolet van shot across the front of my vehicle from a side road. I struck the other vehicle full force but my air bags did not deploy. This resulted in additional injury to me from the seat belt and shoulder strap that I was wearing. In addition, my right arm struke something during the crash, causing injury to it. The rescue people were also very concerned about getting me out of the vehicle (the driver's door was jammed) before additional injuries might be caused by the air bags deploying unexpectedly. Shortly after taking ownwership, I had reported a vibration problem with the truck to chevy. Chevy stated that this was a known problem to them which they referred to as "frame shake" and refused to do anything to fix my truck. I now wonder if the "continuous vibration" of the truck did not contribut to the air bags not working. Either way, the failure of the air bags could have resulted in death instead of just additional injuries. Chevy needs to do something about both problems immediately.

Driver went to avoid fast braking truck in front. Went into the ditch, and drove front of truck into a driveway. Air bags did not deploy. Sustained injury to right shoulder, which still has not healed. Was wearing seat belt. $8300+ damage to car.

While driving 45mph was involved in a collision and air bagd did not deploy, causing injuries to driver.

My son was traveling at 30-35 mph when another car traveling in the opposite direction, turned in from of him. The front and left front as well as left side of bed were impacted. From the force of the hit he has burns from the seat belt and the truck stopped to rest pointing in the direction from which he was traveling. The airbags never deployed even though the truck is a total loss.

While driving 15 mph, was involved in a head on collision with a tree. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy, resulting in major injuries. Also, vehicle has been totaled. Consumer was stopping due to traffic when another vehicle hit her from behind, vehicle was shoved off the road into a tree.

While driving at 40 mph an accident occurred, vehicle hit a wall, and air bags did not deploy. Please provide any further information. Consumer states that the car hit lower room of a sun room of a hotel,also broke off street light pole on its way toward the building and broke glass in the celing of the structure.

Consumer was involved in an accident. Upon impact the air bags did not deploy. Consumer suffered torn ligaments to his left shoulder.

Vehicle involved in a frontal collision of 40 mph with another vehicle. Upon impact, both air bags did not deploy. Dealer/manufacturer were not notified at this time. Feel free to provide any further information.

Consumer was making a turn, saw vehicle from behind and quickly turned back around losing control, vehicle rolled and slid into another vehicle, vehicle then went airborne and rolled 4 to 6 more times, air bags did not deploy, consumer was injured with many broken bones and other extensive injuries, consumer is still in the hospital.

Vehicle was involved in a head-on collison and airbags did not deploy. Consumer's son was driving, and sustained injuries to his left leg. Also, a passenger was injured.

While traveling on highway, vehicle dropped off the pavement into the gravels causing vehicle to turn sideways back onto the pavement and hitting an enbankment on the other side of the road and then turning the vehicle on its side onto the highway in which air bag did not deploy.

My airbags failed to deploy and now problems with chest /neck/lower back/lost teeth.

While driving at about 45 mph on freeway consumer lost control and hit a concrete barrier. Upon impact, frontal airbags did not deploy.

Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 37 mph. Upon impact, airbags did not deploy, resulting in injury to driver. Manufacturer has been notified.

While driving at 40 mph vehicle's front end broadsided another vehicle. Upon impact, driver's airbags did not deploy. No one has seen vehicle.

While driving at 45 mph rear ended a vehicle straight on upon impact, airbags did not deploy, has tried to contact GMC, no result. Please add additional information.

While driving about 65 mph rear ended another vehicle , driver side air bag did not deploy and passenger side air bag was turned off. Vehicle had 2nd generation air bag rear ended causing a second front end collision.

While traveling and as a result of consumer falling a sleep vehicle hit a wall head-on, and air bags did not deploy.

While driving on highway in a heavy rainstorm vehicle hydroplaned and hit a guardrail, and driver's side airbag failed to deploy.

Gas pedal stuck and brakes were hard to press when trying to slow down. This caused consumer to hit a tree. Also, airbags did not deploy, and drivers side seat belt did not properly restrain. It did not lock into position, causing consumer to sustain a head injury. Dealer has not been able to duplicate the problem.

While driving at 35 mph another driver was waiting to make a turn, the other driver turned in front of consumer, consumer hit other driver head-on, and went into high curve. The other driver was drunk. Upon impact, airbags failed to deploy. Consumer stated that airbags should have deployed at 10 to 14 mph, but they did not. Consumer was willing to take car to be inspected.
