Two problems related to steering knuckle spindle have been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
A popping noise was coming from the steering wheel when turning. Dealer replaced part under warranty and was informed today that it is bad again. I was told that they have not fix problem from gm and that all they do now is take a needle and fill with grease.
Front steering knuckle produced a rattling sound when turning in either direction. Dealer was notified.
