One problem related to steering linkage connection has been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Intermediate steering shaft keeps wearing out every 15 thousand miles and the dealer has replaced it twice in two years it is worn out again at 45k mi. And needs replaced . In my opinion this should be a 100k mi part at least.
