Three problems related to brakes failed have been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The brakes failed due to rusted lines. There was no pressure on the brake pedal and the vehicle needed to be stopped using parking brake. Mechanic said that this is not the first one he has seen. Extremely unsafe condition.
Brake failure due to corroded brake pipes.
The vehicle was traveling on holsey road approaching the intersection of holsey road and ridge road. The brakes suddenly failed when depressed to stop the vehicle, and the pedal went down to the floor with no brake control. The brakes had been working perfectly before the incident, and there was no warning of an impending failure.
