The front springs on 2003 Chevrolet 1500 silvered quad cab trucks are collapsing and GMC/Chevrolet knows about problem and says it the owners responsible to fix their mistake in designing and engineering the truck. They sent out a technical service bulletin to all dealers about problem and says it the owners need to pay $18. 00 dollars for rubber bushing to push up spring and 380. 00 in labor . It not the company's fault. I think they need a recall and replace the springs with heavy duty springs at their cost not the owners cost.
