Two problems related to abs brake fail have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Abs failed during a panic stop. Vehicle's rear looses road adhesion and swings to the right, then the left side starts to skid and the entire vehicle begins to wobble.
Vehicle in front stopped suddenly necessitating braking. However, abs brakes failed; engine stalled, resulting in a crash/injury.
