One problem related to trunk wiring has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Three days after purchasing vehicle, and after using the lighter, power locks stopped working. Rear hatch would not open nor would the lighter work. Dealership was notified and the problem was fixed. It was supposedly a short in the wiring. Approximately 1 month later the same problem occurred after the lighter was used, this will be the second attempt to repair the vehicle.
