Front Air Bag Sensor Control problems of the 2007 Chevrolet Suburban

Three problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2016

Takata recall: it's been over 9 months since I received a recall notice regarding my Suburban. I have made several calls and still no fix for the problem. I have also had problems with the emission sensor caused by gas tank cap. This appears to be a problem for all Suburbans. I also experienced a loss in power with this vehicle while on the highway. The stabilitrqck light came on and I was able to safely exit the highway. Could have been a severe accident if inwas not near an exit.

2 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 09/14/2008

Air bag sensors in my chevy 2007 surb. Kept going bad and need to be replaced.

3 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 02/02/2007

The sensor for the passenger side airbag on our 2007 Chevrolet Suburban does not function properly with a small adult weighing between 105 and 115 pounds sitting in the seat. The airbag continually switches back and forth from on to off on a trip. My wife will try to find a position where the airbag is on, only to notice several minutes later it is again off.
