The vehicle continued to accelerate up to 90 mph and would not slow down. The contact continuously depressed the brakes before the vehicle finally decelerated. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 6,700.

When the consumer attempted to accelerate from a stop, the accelerator pedal became stuck. The consumer had to use excessive force . The cause was not determined. Please provide more information.
While vehicle was parked with engine running for 15 minutes and when attempting to drive consumer noticed that the accelerator pedal was stuck. This happened intermittently, usually the longer the vehicle sat.
My accelerator keeps sticking on my 2001 Chevrolet Suburban. I feel like this is going to cause an accident. I have talked to the fleet maintenance people here at my work and they have had the same problem with other Chevrolet fleet vehicles. Please please check into this it is going to cause someone to lose their life!.
While driving, consumer noticed the accelerator pedal was sticking, consumer proceeded to drive around a narrow two way highway which was wet at the time, consumer then released his foot from the accelerator and touched the brake moderately, however the vehicle kept moving without reduction in speed, consumer stated the tail end of the vehicle began sliding to the right and left as he was approaching a turn, consumer was finally able to apply the brakes once the vehicle was parallel to the road, the vehicle sustained damage and 2 blown tires.
