Exterior Lighting Problems of Chevrolet Tahoe - part 2

Was parking and the service brake turn hard as a rock. So at a slow speed drive around the lot to found the service brake with no warning would just stop working. Like the brake booster lost vacuum and needed time to build back up. Had towed to dealer. Mileage 37,500 give or take 100 miles at no time did any warning lights come on . Same thing happed at the dealer then tech and service writer drove it . Also right side drl seems to fail in every one I see.

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. While driving approximately 60 mph, the dome light flickered on and off. The contact stated that the failure occurred for the past two months every time the vehicle was driven at night. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact stated that there was a manufacturer communications number (pi1268b) in reference to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

While driving various speeds, the interior lighting flickered suddenly.

At slow speeds car dies shutting off all electric power and locking us in the car. Steering wheel jerks and car dies. Backed out into highway at night two nights ago and car died in middle of road with no lights. There was enough of a hill to let the car roll off of highway or my family could have died. Car has around 60k miles on it. Have read other issues similar to this. No evidence on computer when we take it to dealer. We have had this issue happen at least five separate occasions. The last one was the worst and most dangerous.

Interior lights flickering when brake pedal is applied - this is both distracting and dangerous to the driver as this happens when we are in motion when the brake pedal is applied. I have seen other complaints online so wondering why there is not a recall.

Shift indicator does not illuminate. Called dealership in reference to the 05v055000 recall that I assumed was applicable to all Tahoes with the same problem. Service tech inicated that my VIN was not part of the recall. Seems that the recall should be expanded to include all of the same vehicles since the problem seems to affect the all.

Gm products now have an unsafe condition when unlocking the doors. The vehicles turn on the reverse lights when the doors are unlocked, leading other drivers to believe that the car is backing up. This causes other drivers in parking lots to stop when they should not thinking that the car is about to back up, and will ultimately cause drivers to ignore gm product reverse lights as they are not used solely for backing up.

The dome lights in second row flicker every time I press on the brakes. The dome lights also flicker occasionally when I put on the blinkers. I have complained to the dealer several times and they want to charge a high price or they act as if it is a small issue. Dealer is sports chevy in silver spring, MD. This has been going on for over a year.

Vehicles dome lights flash when applying breaks. . This also happens when you use your turning signals. . This is a hazard.

As I was driving the error light came on stating there was a camera malfunction. This is a safety camera/system on the front of the truck, which controls the stability control, speed, braking system, electronic bind spot detection, etc.

1: while driving the car, the second interior row lights flash every 2 minutes, it 's really annoying for the night driving. 2. When I was trying to do a parallel parking, my steering wheel was locked up, this happened couple of times, and sometime, the sign of "stabilitrak off" showed on the front screen. Interior lights flash randomly. This is very distracting when driving at night. It occurs day and nighttime but is most noticeable when driving at night. It has been occurring ever since the vehicle was bought in Sep 2014.

Second inquiry on this problem, a detailed description was sent previously and no response was ever received. 2015 chevy Tahoe in short, interior led lights flash when ever the brake is applied. Interior led lights flash when left turn signal is activated. Dealer stated that a service bulletin was created for this issue as an obvious safety issue at night. Electrical tape over the second seat led's dealer wanted at the time $180. 00 to remedy the problem. (documented) dealer on next recall visit, customer service stated that they were unaware of such an issue, and also that this was the first that he had heard of it. Internet is well aware of the electrical issue.

Spoke to dealer who stated they never heard of issue. Provided them with a possible TSB #p11268 from alldata. This has occurred at least 50 times.

The piece broke off the bottem latch to the frame on the seat for the 3rd row seating and sometimes the seatbelt want latch in back seat. Dashboard gauge lights blown alot of inside gage lights are not working and heater/air stopped working on number 5 fan.

Crack in the dash on drivers side. Interior door handles have caused cuts to hands. Service battery charging system light continues to come on. I have had the car serviced & mechanics can not locate the issue. Seems to be an electrical malfunction.

I been having several issues with this truck for about 2 years now. The dashboard is cracking, throttle sensor is going off, fuel sensor is off as well. The locks are getting stuck on my rear doors. The locks started to click on & off yesterday. Wiring system is jacked. My speakers don't work. My mother has the same truck year and model and is doing the same things.

Have replaced running lights about 30ty times both rt and lt. Finely it burned out so bad that it want let me replace the bulbs they just don't work anymore. This started about 2015 I didn't know of this site so here what can we do. Thanks.

Rear lift gate will not unlock and it doesn't have a manual release inside nor does it have a key access from outside the vehicle to unlock it. If involved in an accident/wreck someone could be trapped in the vehicle with no way out. Shift indicator light in dash does not illuminate - unable to tell what gear the vehicle is in. Extreme safety hazards! chevy should be held responsible and issue a recall to prevent someone from being injured.

Tl - the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that when driving at night the lighting was not bright enough because of an invisible line above the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The dealer had adjusted the head brights. The contact stated the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000. I was stopped at a stop sign when all the lights on the dashboard went out and smoke started coming out of the ignition switch. I turned the vehicle off and removed the key. The smoke stopped but the dashboard started making weird ticking noises.

I just bought this 07 chevy Tahoe before 3 months ago, the problems start one by one, when the weather start hot the dashboard broken, dic light dead and rnd123 light too, now the gm dealer want more than a $500 to fix the cluster, I checked online and I found thousands of gm owners they have same problem, why gm don't do a recall on the message center light and the dashboard.

While driving it he vehicle it shuts off, all of the gauges go to zero the power steering goes out and I am no longer able to accelerate until I restart the car. The lights inside and out go off and on . The doors lock and unlock continuously,. In the past year this has happened 3 or 4 times.

The display cluster in dash has quit working, driver information center is completely out and the prnd is barely visible. Seems to be a common occurrence on 2007 year model Chevrolet Tahoes.

The driver information computer screen and prnd321 lights have failed. The dashboard inside has cracked in two areas.

While the vehicle is in motion, the door locks begin to cycle (up and down), the clock resets itself to twelve, static runs through the radio, the console lights (lighting, engine ck, stabilty control) flicker on and off and the transmission downshifts at will. The effect on the transmission is of particular concern because at highway speeds the vehicle abruptly slows down causing a potential hazard for the driver, its occupants, and others. Once the vehicle ignition is turned off, all power inside, dome lights, radio, etc turn off and the vehicle will not restart until the battery cable is moved back and forth and a connection is reestablished. This is the second time I have taken the vehicle to the dealer and they have been unable to replicate the malfunction.

One of the running/driving white lights has burned out and not just once. After replacing this bulb twice it only took a matter of a few days for it to burn out again. Many same style Chevrolet vehicles (mainly Tahoe, suburban, silverado, and avalanche) are the vehicles with this issue. On any given day I drive around town or out of town I notice atleast 10 vehicles with this same issue. If these lights are installed for safety reasons (particularly in the gray northwest) I believe both lights should be working as intended.

Shift lever position indicator in the instrument panel cluster does not illuminate and driver does not know which gear vehicle is in.

The speed gauge was struck on 10 than 20 it stop working all together about two months go. Iam going to get it fix.
