2 Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 06/14/2022

I purchased this vehicle a few weeks ago. I was told by the salesman that everything worked in the car. I test drove it and the lane departure warning was working so I assumed the forward collision would be working. In real life driving, I have nearly run in to numerous cars as the forward collision does not work. In one instance, someone slammed on their breaks, my collision didn't alert me, thankfully I saw it, but I had to swerve off the road to keep from hitting them. In addition, the cooling seats work, but the heated seats do not work on either side of the front seats. Lastly, I have discovered that my navigation system does not work. I can't get it to change to my current location and the gps is x'd out. This is what I have so far, but sadly, I feel more things are going to happen with this vehicle. I am working with the dealership on the forward collision and heated seats, but don't know if I will get anywhere with them. They have said they will not fix the navigation system, which is affected by the cal (calibration) error message on my screen.

Water intrusion via gps antenna defect into driver cabin above driver at visor attachment. Loss of gps, onstar and antenna functions. This occurred following heavy rain storms. 5 Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 09/29/2019

Onstar antenna, gps, microphone failure.

6 Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of the 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 09/05/2019

Gps antenna leaked while parked in rain. Saturated head liner, steering wheel, and driver seat. Water puddled in driver floor mat. Gps signal lost until things dried out. Also has impacted collision avoidance system. Has happened several times in last 2 months. Problem is intermittent because vehicle is garaged most times. Doesn't occur while driving during rain, only when vehicle is parked and water can stream in through gap on backside of antenna and enter the defective inner seal. I have seen many accounts of this on forums. Gm needs to conduct a recall on this problem.

7 Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 05/15/2019

I own a 2015 Tahoe that I really want to like, but the problems have been one after another! I have had my window panels replaced 3 times. My dvd player stopped working. My a/c just had to be repaired for a leaking condenser, and now my back hatch won't open due to the motor going out. Oh. . . And I almost forgot I have been without onstar/ gps for about a year now because that is also broken.

8 Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 12/17/2018

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. While driving, the contact was alerted that there was a gps malfunction. The contact found a service bulletin for the failure that expired in 2017, but the contact was never notified. The bulletin indicated that the manufacturer was repairing the gps at that time. The contact did not feel responsible for the repair cost. Weseloh Chevrolet (5335 paseo del norte, carlsbad, CA 92008, (760) 208-1943) was contacted and claimed to know nothing about the service bulletin. The manufacturer had not been contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 85,000.

9 Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of the 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe

The gps has a x through it and does give direction at all. The arrow on the map is usually in the middle of no where,.

10 Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 11/17/2010

2005 Chevrolet Tahoe dash guages-speedometer eratic, gives false reading and eventually gets stuck at 120 mph, reset by removing "dic"(dash instrument cluster) fuse and starting vehicle then replacing fuse (found this in a blog about this problem), fixes for unspecified amount of time before failing again. This is a known problem and should be mandatory recall by manufacture, as of now only a "voluntary" class action suite settlement to repair at 7 years or 70,000 miles. Most units fail on, around or after this. This is a huge safety concern. I did not realize I was going over 70 mph in a 55 mph zone as my speedometer was reading 45 mph at this specific malfuction, I turned on my gps to verify because I felt I was going much faster than my speedometer was reading and the gps read over 70 mph!. Please demand a recall for these acknowledged propblems by gm for 2003 thru 2007 model years! this is due to faulty guage motors installed by the maker. I contacted gm and they said recalls are governed by the state therefore it was not recalled and only repair at the specified date milage range in the service bulletin. This is a complete sham, the customer should not have to incur expense because of a known faulty item used in manufacturing. Where is the accountabilty for these people?. . . . Please help!.
