Tl-the contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker. The contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, the steering wheel began to vibrate. The failure was persistent. The contact also stated that the vehicle shook violently when the vehicle was stopped. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the front mount arm failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The tires were replaced four times in order to stop the vibration. Vehicle vibrated when going 65-70 mph . Dealer stated no defects were found on the vehicle.

After 3 or more repair attempts the vehicle was still unstable.

2002 Chevrolet Tracker has been to cargil Chevrolet in putnman ,conn . We have taken it to them many of times for vibrations and balance on tires are wrong ,and other things replaced. But they still cannt fix it they say it the Tracker itself.

Vehicle can not be kept on road, it wanders all over the road uncontrollably and dealer tells me this is the way they all drive. It is unsafe to drive and Chevrolet refuse to do anything else to correct the problem. Stability of vehicle wa uncertain . Consumer wasn't aware of this at the time of purchase. Vehicle has tipped over beyond its capability, was unable to go over 50 mph without feeling like it was moving all over the road by the wind. Manufacturer will buy back vehicle if not repairable. , dealer has confirmed it, but hasn't contacted the consumer.
