Radio/tape Cd Player Problems of Chevrolet Trailblazer

I purchased the vehicle from usados auto sales and the owner told me the car had 185,000 on it. Well after paying cash and waiting 27 days I finally receive the title and it says it has 260,000. The bill of sale he signed when he bought it also stated that the actual mileage wasn't correct. He filed my bill of sale out and didn't inform me or even right back there form he lied to me and said it was 185,000 so I contacted him and he said it was something he overlooked to just write on my bill of sale the actual mileage and I told him no I would you have spent $2500 on a vehicle with 260,000 miles and he refuses to help me. Now the vehicles check engine light is on. It leaking oil and the radio doesn't work and it keeps blowing fuses.

My husband was driving about 40 mph on a country paved road when his side airbags went off. His radio and lights started flashing. He was able to get home the mile or so, parked the car and shut it off. When he went to start it the next day nothing worked. He was startled by this happening and was lucky he didn't cause an accident or get hurt. He could have caused an accident very easily due to the visibility. Not sure what caused this to happen. - unknown the vehicle was taken to a chevy dealer but they were not able to diagnosis it so at this point we are not aware of exactly all that was effected with the vehicle. I have attached the denial from our insurance.

Odmoter works then just stops going down the road and airbag light stays on now also if I plug in my cell charger the radio shuts off did not do this until issues with odmoter.

In novemeber 2014 I started the car and I had no guages(gas,temperature,oil,rpm. Mph, and the mileage display) the other electric components worked, like the radio and the small orange light for awd. I took it to my mechanic twice, but it never acted up for him. It happened twice again in December, but it really acted possessed in Jan 2015, some of the guage needles were going round in circles, and some were not moving at all, so we were able to take a video of some of it, and show our mechanic. He called us today and said he is following a lot of burnt wires, and our car could have caught on fire. I thought this potential fire hazard should be reported.

While driving my 2005 chevytrailblazer it just turned off without warning, as soon as it did the check enginge light and reduced engine power light came on(instrument panel and radio were still working). I tried a few times to turn it back on but it failed to restart. 15 minutes later it restarted and I was able to drive to my workplace a few blocks away, by the time I used my vehicle again(about 3hrs later) both engine lights had turned off. We took our vehicle to an auto repair shop to see if they could diagnose the problem, they recommended that we take it to a gm dealership because there were numerous codes showing up on the diagnostic machine. We took it to a local gm dealership in indio, CA (coachella valley Buick GMC). They too said that numerous codes were coming up but after 1 1/2 days with our vehicle they stated that that the ignition switch needed to be replaced. We took it in to auto repair shop and he performed the repair that GMC stated was needed. Upon picking up the vehicle from the repair shop I drove home, as I was pulling into the garage it turned off, a repeat of the same issue we were having before replacing the ignition switch. Since this was on sat,05-03-2014 we had to wait until the afternoon of mon, 05/05/2014 to take it back to the dealership, we informed them that we had their recommended repair done and that the vehicle continued to turn off. The following day they informed me that they could not replicate the problem and that we could pick up the vehicle. On thurs. , 05/08/2014 the vehicle turned off while making a left turn. 20 minutes later it turned back on and he drove it back to the dealership, they then had the vehicle until 05/12/2014; again they stated that they could not replicate the problem. It has continued to repeat this same problem, again without any warning or indication that there is a problem.

Driver side master power window switch does not work the driver side window at all! out of the blue this stopped working. Further research shows that the 2006-2007 models were recalled not the 2005! really, this car is "currently registered in a cold weather state which uses salt to clear the roads" (direct quote from general motors and isuzu recall 258,000 suvs, the associated press, August 19, 2012) since 12/2005 which is when the vehicle was purchased. Just because my vehicle did not have a fire "yet" but I have the "exact" problem which arose before these vehicles did catch fire, mine is not recalled? not only was the transmission recalled in 2008, I had a problem with the "blower motor" not working when you turn on the heat. You could only turn on the heat to no. 4. The truck was taken for service on 1/10/06, 1/30/06, 2/7/06 and 2/17/06 which was not even 2 mo. After purchasing said vehicle before the problem was corrected. In 11/06 the "fuel pump module" was replaced and covered "only" because I had the extended warranty and I had to pay the $100. 00 deductible, because I had gas but it was not registering. Again, I continue to have this problem. When calling gm on 7/24/13 about the window switch recall, I now find out that there is a "special coverage" for the "fuel level sensor". This is covered until 7/24/14, per gm (866-694-6546), unless you have more than 120,000 something miles. Was not sure of the mileage exactly since mine is below that figure. The window switch is a serious malfunction that needs to be covered in "all years" of this vehicle. While sitting at a red light with your foot on the brake, the vehicle will just rev up and want to take off. I guess this isn't a "big deal" either. You can't even listen to the radio to distract you with all these problems going on because the radio only comes out of "one" speaker! go figure, it is gm!.

Steering wheel malfunctions, car turns off when wheel is extended too far to the left. Seatbelts for last row of seats dont lock, radio is stuck, buttons dont control radio properly.

The numbers on the selection for the radio and cd paint has peeled off and I had the radio replaced once.

I just purchased this 2002 Trailblazer sept 30 2006. . It was November 22, 2006- the 4 wheel drive indicator lights were blinking when I put it in reverse. The onstar lights were on. The seat belt lights were on. Later the next day, my father got in my vehicle to move it, when the brake sensor came on and wouldn't go off. He didn't use the emergency brake. My father called apple chevy in west york PA to see what they could do. The 24th they called and said the vehicle needed a e. B. C. M. ( electronic brake control module ). I have a 9 month old son. I get to go pay for the bill, and it costs 930. 25 for a vehicle that wasn't that old. It does have 144, 000 + miles but it was well maintained or so I thought. They did a car fax and it was clean. Or so I thought. Apple chevy in west york wouldn't help with any cost repairs. They said when you get an as is vehicle, its your problem. Well after 4 vehicles that my dad bought from them, we are no longer customers. Me being a hot head, my dad told me to not say nothing and be nice. I kept my comments to a low roar. I called the general manager and he said an as is sale is what it is. I got no satisfaction. But a comment I said to him was- what if it was your wife and son what would you do? he said I wouldn't buy an as is vehicle. I basically asked if he wanted some lemonade from the vehicle I just got. I said well I must have sucker written on my head and that next time warn me about getting more ky for the screwing I just received. He basically said sorry I feel that way. We could bring it back and get something different from them. But I basically said no and hung up. Still the radio malfunctions, the 4 wheel drive may work sometimes, the vehicle acted like it was in neutral. Then after being towed, it acts fine. So at present, it sits in my parents garage not driven with $ I still pay for insurance and payments. I did hear a grinding from the shifter when putting it into drive. I don't trust it. Thank you.

Back hatch and window will only open occasionally if I'm lucky. Tail lights went out once and I was able to get the hatch open to fix it. They are out again and I can't get the hatch to open now. I have been replacing head lamps about every 8 to 10 months. Head lights are now going off for no apparent reason while I'm driving at night. I can flip on the brights and then wait a few minutes and flip back to low beams, sometimes this works sometimes it doesn't. The dome lights will not come on and stay on after I turn it off. Half of the dash lights for the radio are out, sometimes they will come on if I tap them. The feature that lets you turn the vehicle off and the radio will continue to play and the windows will still roll down as long as you don't open the door, is not working. Both O2 sensors are out and have been for a long time. I purchased this SUV brand new from a chevy dealer. I have paid it off and kept up all of the general maintenance on it. When I took it in to get these issues fixed I was told it would be over $2500. 00 to fix and that did not include labor. This SUV is a lemon, if I was in a position to trade it in or buy a new one I would, and I would not be getting another chevy. I have never been notified of any recalls. I only found out about the electrical recalls on the turn signals and tail lights because a friend had heard about them and suggested a website to check. I'm calling the dealer today to see if I can get these issues taken care of. Another reason I will not be buying chevy again.

I have had nothing but problems with my 06 Trailblazer. The front windows rattle horribly, there is a film that is all over the windows all the time, the passenger door speaker has been replaced going on 4 times now, the power points have been replaced, also the stabilizer (which I do not think are fixed) and now they are replacing the stereo in it. They tell me the problem with the windows is "it's how they are made and they all rattle", power points. . . "don't use them". . . Speakers. . . "turn the music down". . . Stabilizers I have given up on. And now there is a smell like something is burning in the car. It does not happen all the time, so there is no way to point it out. This is the first for the stereo. I can not drive with the windows down. . They even rattle when up!.

I am in the process of having to replace the head unit for my stereo due to malfunctions, my driver side view mirror due to constant shaking, a seal in the window that was coming out, driver side door panel due to the plastic bowing up. Occasionally the rear windshield wiper does not work, as well as the driver's seatbelt fails to release allowing me to put my seatbelt on. Excess wind noise on the driverside possibly due to the windshield not being sealed properly.
