I used the jack for the first time of buying the vehicle new. I jacked the vehicle up to put the spare on and the scissor jack folded up and the car dropped. So I looked up if there was a recall on it and there isn't but there is on other vehicles. Note: the car was on level hard surface ground and I placed the jack in the correct location.

Shift assembly kit, it is available. Dealership has to order part for inspection. Still passed inspection. Possible unintended rollaway accidents. Not being able to lock the vehicle as well. Yes, it’s been confirmed. There’s also so many class action lawsuits against gm about this matter. Why isn’t there a recall already?! getting the “shift to park” message in my vehicle for the 2nd time now in less than 4 years. The shift assembly kit was replaced back in December 2022. Apparently it needs to be replaced again because of a switch.

When car is shifted to park it doesn't let the car turn off. There is a message to shift the car to park when it is in park.
The two components that failed were the water pump and the coolant control valve which caused the engine to overheat, resulting in me having to pull over along the side of a busy highway putting me at risk for injury while the vehicle cooled down. It would be available for inspection upon request. This was dangerous mostly to myself due to having to pull over on the side of a busy highway and wait until the vehicle could be somewhat ok to be driven the rest of the way home. I had to drive very slowly home with my hazards on at a very low speed. Vehicle was brought to a nearby chevy dealership the following morning. They had the vehicle for two days and claimed they could not get the problem to present itself, however, within five minutes of me driving it off the lot it overheated resulting in having to pull over again on a busy highway. An independent service center had the vehicle and diagnosed it initially as an intermittently failing water pump. This repair did not resolve the issue 100% as the vehicle began to slowly overheat again within 18 minutes of highway speed driving. Car was towed back to repair shop from my place of employment. They were able to get it to present the issue and diagnosed it as the coolant control valve. This has so far appeared to resolve the overheating issue. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or insurance rep/others. The only warning that came up was on the info screen above the steering column advising me the engine was overheating and was in idle. Immediately upon seeing this I pulled over to prevent any damage. Temp gauge was all the way in the red. Fan was blowing hard. This has never happened previously and there were no other warning lights of any kind on the dash to indicate an issue. This incident happened on 6/2. Please be advised, this vehicle has since been repaired and has ran me $2300 as it is out of warranty.
When putting the vehicle in park and turning off, a warning message will appear that states "shift to park" and initially a nudge of the gear shift would clear the message, after one week, a simple nudge does not clear the message. The vehicle will not turn off and continues to beep, you have to put vehicle in gear (d or r) move a few feet, return to p, press very firmly on the brake and press the ignition button, this may or may not clear the message and it could take a few attempts of these steps to clear.
After the car is parked and engine completely turned off, there is a 'shift to park' warning and it kept on blinking and wouldn't turn off. It drains the car battery.

I needed to have my muffler welded in November to pass inspection. I was told I would likely need the entire thing replaced in a year. I now hear another exhaust leak, and I’m preparing for a hefty car travel and have to deal with trying to get it fixed in 10 days time. This is ridiculous on a 5 year old car that I have only had two year. This needs to be a recall, insane to have to pay for a whole replacement.
Dealership linwood inspected vehicle and certified power and ground module has internal fault-faulty front camera module.
I keep receiving a “shift to park,” message after putting the car in park and shutting it off.
When you put the vehicle in park, it does not register on the dash that the vehicle is in park so therefore you cannot turn the vehicle off. I’ve read this as well known in the 2021 Trailblazers.
Rear camera stoped working. I read 2022 to 2024 had recalls on internet. Ours is 2025. Been to dealer they ordered new camera under warranty. But there on back order. They said they would call us when it came in. That’s the story.

The dash/infotainment system goes blank while driving, almost like the car looses power. Then turns back on after 60 seconds with all the warning lights on before returning back to normal.
While driving on the highway, I heard a loud pop that made me flinch and swerve. After parking I noticed the glass in the sunroof had exploded upward like a volcano, leaving a large hole. Fortunately the shade was closed, or glass would have come into the car while I was driving.
The park switch inside the transmission control assemblies shifter control assembly fail to detect when shifting gear into park.
The onstar module has went out on my car and while researching the issue I found out that it is a very common problem with Chevrolet/gm vehicles years 2021-2025 and although Chevrolet and gm are wwll aware that there's an issue and that the onstar modules are faulty there's been no recall. Mind you the module doesn't just affect onstar features it also is connected to bluetooth microphone and remote start and now none of them work at all.
Rear back up camera. One day it started to glitch when put in reverse. I placed the car in park, gave it a moment and put it in reverse again. This was repeated in the attempt to get the back up camera to work. Next- turned the vehicle off for a moment, restarted it, put in reverse and this did not help. Also, I attempted to check for update/update and reset the infotainment system. This did not help. The backup camera, after this incident has not worked since. I bought this car brand new. Also, just to note, the car shakes dramatically when increasing certain speed during winter, due to very little snow on the tires.
My car along with multiple other cars like mine are having issues with the back up camera not working. I have to take it into a Chevrolet dealer to get it replaced. It is a huge safety concern and a recall needs to be issued.
The nut on the axle on the passenger side of the vehicle came completely off. Not sure how long it was off as it was “smooth” and full of dirt. From what I was told the wheel could fall off. I travel on an interstate at 80 miles an hour daily. I bought this car to transport elderly mother to appointments. I am not feeling confident in this vehicle. I would trade it if I was not upside down in it. The dealership has been great.
Shift to park message coming on, not allowing vehicle shutoff. No inspection yet, in looking up issue, was prompted to report.
Screen in car goes black. No radio,no noise,no back up camera-apple car play won’t hook up anymore-I see others models around mine having exactly the same issues I am experiencing-I have reset radio/screen multiple times,it works anywhere from a few mins to hours then it blacks out again and there is nothing on screen. I have replaced the battery, key fine battery’s,and fuse. And I am still experiencing this issues. I have made an appointment at a chevy dealer to have it diagnosed March 2,2026. That is $169. 00 out of my pocket. Again I am seeing plenty of other checks around my make and model having the same issues being recalled. My incident started about January 30,2026.
Exhaust fell off under normal operating conditions. Dealership (dekalb sycamore Chevrolet- sycamore illinois) stated this has been a common issue with this year group of Chevrolet Trailblazer suvs. Dealership stated the bolts/exhaust pipe junction between the catalytic converter and pipe that goes to the muffler rusts through and the entire exhaust system from the cat back falls out of the undercarriage of the vehicle, which is what happened here.
While driving at highway speeds, my vehicle suddenly enters low power/limp mode, severely reducing acceleration and creating a dangerous situation in traffic. This occurred multiple times. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a faulty gas pedal (accelerator) sensor and stated the vehicle is unsafe to drive under these conditions. The required part has been on back order for months, and no repair has been completed. The dealership promised a loaner vehicle due to safety concerns but failed to provide one and has had no communication for over four months. I am now required to travel long distances and fear loss of power will occur again while driving on the highway, posing a serious safety risk.
“shift to park” message came on the dashboard. Car would not change gear or go into reverse or drive. Basically stuck in park position. Car kept peeping sound nonstop for over 20 minutes. And it drained the battery. Car would not drive. Had to have it towed to the dealership I brought it from 45 miles away. I had to pay $656. 72 at dealership to get it fixed. The dealership removed and replaces the shifter assembly which cost $656. 72.
The vehicle displayed a warning on the dash that the battery was not charging properly and vehicle may stall. The vehicle was checked at dealership and issue was disregarded. 3 days later the vehicle showed the same warning and the battery light flickered, there was a chane in the power and lights dimmed. This was evaluated by dealership, apparently it is a known issue but no resolution available. When the battery light flashed during the second event there was no control over the vehicle (power/steering) creating a very concerning safety issue.
Unknown. This was a certified preowned vehicle that was purchased on December 18, 2024. We have had numerous issues with the car since purchase but the most concerning has been the door actuators. The front door actuators on both sides failed in less than a year from date of purchase. I was told by the dealership where it was repaired that this was a common problem and to expect the rear ones to not be far behind. 4 months later, the rear ones are now not working. This creates a safety hazard, especially since this is the primary vehicle that my teenager drives with his younger brother. A malfunctioning door lock actuator can create dangerous situations, including the possibility that a door may fail to unlock or open, potentially trapping passengers in the vehicle during an emergency or out of the vehicle when my underage children are by themselves. Conversely, the door may appear to be locked when the mechanism has not actually engaged, leaving the vehicle vulnerable to unauthorized access. Faulty actuators may also cause erratic locking or unlocking behavior while the vehicle is in motion, which can create a safety distraction for the driver as well as a security risk. There were no warnings that this was an issue. My son thought the doors were locking (and unlocking). I am aware gm is already "tacking" this issue as I could find stats on how many people have reported, so it is enough that they are taking notice.
Check engine light came on steady (not flashing) took to local repair shop and was informed it was a thermo control valve. My car currently has approximately 66k miles on it.

Vehicle has given me a "shift to park" message when the sift is all the way up and off at park. You basically has to push hard for the message to go away.
Park to shift error. Vehicle will not turn off while in park, instead gives an alert to "shift to park" even though the vehicle is already in park. Due to faulty park switch or wiring in the shifter assembly.
1/ while at the stop site, the car suddenly stopped and went black. Stereo turn off and screen went black. 2/ sometime I can’t unlock the car from inside. The lock works but not the unlock button. While backing or stopping there is a high noise that seems like I have a bad brake , took it to the dealership and they said the brake is good but they can’t figure out where the noise coming from. I took the car to the dealership 3 times in 1 month since the problem started and they still can not fix it.
The exhaust and muffler completely detached from the catalytic converter/exhaust manifold while driving down the road. If we were driving at a higher rate of speed, the exhaust pipe could've caught on any imperfection on the roadway and shot the rear end of the vehicle up and then potentially caused an accident/death. This has happened to many I have discovered upon further research and is a common problem with the vehicle according to the dealership. Vehicle has been towed to the dealership to be inspected and/or repaired. Zero warning signals, lamps, or messages.
Multiple times of getting the warning that I need to "shift into park" when the vehicle is in park. I did have fixed at my local dealer but did have to pay, I know this is been an ongoing issue with many Trailblazer . Chevy should look into recalling the failing part.
I have a shift to park message that is malfunctioning and I can't shut off my car.
My vehicle started flashing “shift to park” about 2 weeks ago, after being in a gm dealership for 18 days for repair. I immediately notified them my cel was back on and what it was showing on my dashboard ( shift to park). I dropped it off on a Saturday and that same day they told me they could not figure out what was wrong with it. I texted the service advisor of the notification I was having and if that was the issue to which she did not do anything about. The issue is that it will stay on, and flash and can drain my battery out and it will not allow me to lock my car or it tells me that my vehicle remote is not inside to turn it off. When I called the dealership about it, they told me that the s. A. Did not mention the issue I was having and she was not concerned with it- and they would look at it but will charge me for it ( while they already had possession of my vehicle). Dealership told me they saw no code for it and it wasn’t showing up on their end when they had my car. But the day I picked it up, and put it in park it started doing the exact issue I told them about. They told me they were getting my car to “act up” and they would of clearly seen the notification on my dash and did not look into it. Insurance has not looked into it and no one seems to be able to help me and I’ve already paid $1000. 00 to two different body shops to fix my car and it’s still having that issue. At current, it’s flashing “shift to park” and I can’t get it to stop and I have to keep turning my car on. It’s a huge safety issue as it’s going to drain my battery out or cause me to not be able to start my vehicle.
The bolts attaching my muffler to my exhaust pipe sheared off of my 30,000 mile 2022 chevy Trailblazer at highway speed, launching them into my muffler. My exhaust pipe dropped-at 70 miles an hour it could have ripped off, and I am lucky the bolts went into my muffler and not something more vital. Also, if the pipe or muffler had fallen, I-or someone behind me- could have run over it causing potential control issues. I am seeing that this is a common problem on various consumer forums. There was no warning- didn't even get a check engine light after the fact- things just got really loud. I was fortunate to be close to an exit (as I was in a construction zone) and was able to get a tow to the nearest dealership.
I get a shift to park warning after putting the car into park. I’m not able to turn the car off, this has drained the battery and caused safety issues for me and my child.
