Vehicle shakes when idling, parked, stopped or when not in motion. Rpms drops below 1 when in park and this begins the vehicle to shake. Vehicle struggles to gain speed in which, it stays moderated then accelerates at once. As well as, at random times vehicle will jerk unexpectedly while in motion. All this has happened over a period of a year and just recently, service engine light has finally came on. I have had maintenance done on my end to help fix the issues and nothing can be resolved.

My transmission jerks very bad in between every gear. One moring I was driving out of my house and I heard a loud pop from under the car and smelled something burning I see every other 200 is on the recall for the transmission but this one I really wish someone would look in to it . The dealer said it's normal for the car to shake and jerk I work on cars that's not true.
This vehicle has a shudder and a jerking motion at approximately the 28 to 35 mph range. Also switching the gears from neutral to drive or reverse will freeze. Have to shut the vehicle off and try again. As far as the suspension, the left rear has made a sound almost from the beginning when vehicle was purchased. It makes a clunking sound if going over a bump, or hit a deviation in the road. Was told for the longest time couldn't find anything. Now all of a sudden 1 shock is bad.
When accelerating car shudders/ when brakes are applied at speeds of 20+ car shakes. Transmission races itself going up and down hill having trouble switching gears in an automatic transmission. Trouble shifting gears. Car has shut off while driving /switched to neutral by itself.
It's been at least 8months since I've driven my own car because of all the safety hazards on it and I am pregnant. I feel to scared to drive it thinking that something may happen to me because the car wants to act up. Since about a month after I had financed the car I noticed that the air bag light was on and the transmition light would pop on and off. The car started to stay at a certain speed limit and would not accelerate no matter how hard or long I pressed on the gas pedal. I would then have to pull over to the side of the road and turn my car off and then turn it back on. This was ongoing for monts. . It was my only transportation to work and I didn't have the money to get a new car after just financing one and being young in the military. I had took it to my dealership when this happened and they told me that the transmition light would come up because the sensor for my oil wasn't reading and it was nothing to worry about and my air bag light came up because someone in the backseat must've stepped on it and it would still work but the light would be there. A lot of bull shit but at the time I didn't know much so I went off of what they said. Later on the light would go on and off. For the first 6 month I believe I had replaced my lights 8times thinking that it was norma to change it that often. Again I didn't know much about cars. But after getting it checked the dealership had told me I have wiring issues and I my head lights and highbeams don't work on the left hand side. And after letting a friend use my car for a day I believe they've gone out completely. Today I went to drive my car literally 5min away from my house to the store to just turn it on and my car started shaking while I was driving it. Oh and my battery has gone out before on me a couple of times in the past and it did that to me today while I was on a hill which was really dangerous.

Transmission was replaced due to recall now the gears dont shift right it vibrates and the car jumps forward on its own and takes off like a rocket sometimes in reverse I talked to Chrysler they had me bring it back to the dealer as I was driving on a city street the front axle came apart I had it towed they fixed the axle but not the transmission no fix is available is what they said then the left axle started popping I took it back the left strut had to be replaced but still no fix for transmission and its gotten worse.
I was at a stop sign with my spouse and I was taking a right hand turn. The car didn't move at all then all of a sudden it lunged forward causing us to jerk back and forth. I still have lower back pain because of this and my spouse neck was hurting for a couple of weeks. Other than that I have several issues that had yet to be resolved. There is a rattling sound coming from the engine compartment. They told me it was a knock and I have tried different brands of gas and it 's still there. The car still lunges forward from a stop even though it has had an update on its system multiple times. When you put the car in park it rolls forward quite a bit. 2 times it jumped out of park and into reverse. I have had an airbag issue 5 times and today it is at the dealership to be repaired again. It is the right side airbag. Connectors were changed and wiring 4 times. Car hesitates a lot especially from a stand still. I have almost gotten into accidents due to the fact that when I was taking a left on a major road from a complete stop the car rolled a little and didn't go. It hesitated jerked hard and went really slow. A grinding noise came from the tranny. Another issue I have is that my car vibrates. I don't have no ac nor radio on and it just vibrates. The tech told me that Chryslers star will not do anything for my vehicle just updates. I'm paying for a car that spends about a week in the shop once a month since April. No one can figure it but they can hear the rattling and feel the sound. I even had one tech told me that I should deal with it that I am not the only one complaining but star isn't going to do anything about it. Yet again it is at the shop today getting an update and the airbag being repaired.
