On a highway while about to cross an intersection the engine just shuts off when taking off. The engine hesitates and dies with no check engine lights or anything. Taking away power steering and making it harder to stop due to the engine not running.
Doesn't start. Every light came on. Everything needed to be serviced air bags key fob not detected air bags needed service parking brake needs service. Check engine light on. Battery light on. Can only start with a charge once charge removed car doesn't start. The car was stationary. I recently found out that the car was on the recall list, but I never received notification from the car company.
Tl- the contact owns a 2016 Chrysler 200. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would slip in and out of gears. The contact stated the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to vann Dodge Chrysler Jeep ram (899 s delsea dr, vineland, NJ 08360) where it was diagnosed with the fuel injector and the engine needing to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired as of yet. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000. Rd.
My 2016 Chrysler 200 stalls randomly in traffic on the highway. I was on my way home from ocean city, MD when I hit traffic at the bay bridge. I was trying to switch lanes when I noticed my power steering was not working followed by a message on the screen stating to put the vehicle in park and restart the engine. Vehicle restarted but was not shifting correctly. Happened a second time in a similar situation. This is a major safety hazard. I don't even know where to begin looking for the problem because there is no check engine light indicating what is happening.
Vehicle is stalling, completely shutting off, losing power while driving. It has done it as 20mph, 45mph, going straight, turning left, turning right. There is no notification that this is happening. The only thing I can tell it's happening is it looses power, steering locks up and the car dash says "shift to p to start vehicle". When I do that, the car takes at least 30-456 seconds to completely start back up and running. It acts like it does not want to start back up. I have travelled county roads, city streets, highways and it has done it on each one of them. This is not ok and something that needs to be blown off with no recall. I have 2 small children that is 99. 9% of the time in the car with me. I can not have this continue to happen with nothing being done or resolved of this. I have taken it to 2 different Chrysler dealers and they cannot figure out what is going on with it because the car is not throwing any codes when it happens. No check engine light, nothing.
