Car Accelerates On Its Own Problems of Chrysler 200

When at a stop sign the and the vehicle is in drive the steering wheel shakes rapidly. Turn it in a different gear it stops. When trying to accelerate it has a delay; rpm will jump and nothing happens. You release the gas and the cars rpm drops and car jerks you into next gear. With this the vehicle is unsafe when trying to rapidly accelerate. This could potentially cause a wreck or a fatality due to the jerking motion and unaware of the problem could cause major injuries.

Car would not accelerate over 20 miles and hour after the traction control and abs light came on. The car then rapidly accelerated and worked fine until I reached work.
