I honestly believe this has to do with me being discriminated by people even emergency dispatch and police from the city of inglewood , this is not the first time my car gets tampered with, but to start I already had felt something was off with the vehicle because I was parked and it accelerated all of a sudden last night of 03/24/26 then today on 03/25/26 I was on the freeway on my way to work then I felt something wasnt how the last time I drove it then it accelerated all of sudden and some setting on my car where changed so I returned home I didn’t want to risk my life or anybody else’s so I took pictures of the miles 114199 and how the cars is in case someone tries to take it and cause and incident & tries to cause and organized crime so I can get into trouble.

While driving at approximately 60 mph on a highway, the vehicle suddenly lost motive power, stalled, and entered "limp mode," shifting into neutral or a low gear unexpectedly. This failure caused a rapid deceleration in high-speed traffic, effectively disabling the vehicle and creating an immediate safety hazard and risk of collision. The engine stalled completely, requiring the vehicle to be coasted to the emergency shoulder. After a key cycle, the vehicle restarted but the check engine light remained illuminated. Independent diagnostic scanning retrieved diagnostic trouble codes (dtc) u0018 (medium speed can communication bus short) and p0894 (transmission component slipping). These specific codes and symptoms (intermittent electrical short causing stall/shift-to-neutral) are identical to the safety defects addressed in NHTSA recall 15v-470 (fca recall r24 - power distribution center electrical connector) and NHTSA 16v-529 (fca recall s55 - transaxle wiring harness). Although records indicate recall r24 was marked as "completed" on this vehicle in July 2015, the specific safety defect has recurred, presenting the exact same failure mode. The authorized dealer was contacted regarding the recurrence of this safety defect but refused to perform a no-charge inspection, citing an expired repair warranty. The manufacturer (fca us llc) was also contacted to report the recurring safety failure but refused to open a case or authorize a diagnostic inspection, despite the life-threatening nature of the defect. The component and vehicle are available for inspection. The failure has not been resolved.
Chrysler sold me a unsafe rusted frame the car is dangerous and unsafe I'm scared of the car and it needs to be pick up.

The car is constantly needs a jump start , and the pedal will not accelerate. I have had multiple diagnosis and they don’t know what it is- the cruise control component comes on at the beginning of the jump start until the car runs. Auto zone and midas has checked the battery, alternator, did a draw and they can’t find the issue. When driving the pedal will not accelerate- may have to pull over, and restart- then it works, until you disengage the car. They charged me over 30,000. 00 dollars for this vehicle and I’m still paying on it and I can’t even drive it because I feel unsafe, especially with the pedal. It’s too cold to get up and jump start a car every morning. I’m paying 460. 54 every month for a car that I don’t know that’s wrong with it- I purchase a warranty and though I didn’t hit the mileage they said it expired because it was for three years. This should be illegal. I really need to drive to get things done. There’s no lights coming to indicate a problem, please assist. It kept [xxx] cutting off and the cruise control, then it stopped. Tried to connect with Chrysler they said they were backed up, only speed issues, like accelerating faster than the mileage, now since it got cold - it won’t even crank up without a jump start, but all things checked and the mechanics can’t find the reason saying it’s electrical. Do you think Chrysler os messing with my car because that’s dangerous and this is stressful- I’ll send the police report need to find information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Any time I am coming to a stop from 40/45 mph the car would accelerate although I am breaking! this is not safe. It happens randomly while driving I could be in traffic and it will accelerate soon as I put my foot on the break.
I was parked in a parking lot backing out of a space. I was too close to the right curb so I put the car in drive to go forward to straighten out the tires. The gas accelerated abruptly and would not stop when I pressed the brake. The car jumped the curb/sidewalk and plowed into the parked car in front of me. The gas continued to accelerate pushing the vehicle in front of me about 5 feet back. The car did not stop until I jammed it into park. My bumper was ripped off when backing up was caught in the grill of the vehicle it collided with. I had both feet on the brake pad trying to stop the car and it would not stop. A very frightening experience. I have read several posts on this acceleration problem and believe there should be a recall. Not a good experience to remember Chrysler by.
After starting the vehicle and going from reverse to drive the vehicle stalls out. After the initial stall and traveling a few miles, while stopping at a traffic signal the vehicle stalls out again and more times than not can accelerate at a speed higher than prompted. This is a frequent occurrence and other owners of the same make model and year that I have spoken with have the same issue.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle unintendedly accelerated. The contact had to depress the brake pedal very forcefully to stop the vehicle from accelerating. The contact stated that while her sister was driving the vehicle, she also experienced the failure. Additionally, the vehicle failed to accelerate over 40 mph. The transmission service message was displayed. The contact became aware that the speedometer continued to decrease. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was unknown.
With cruise control on going down hill the cruise control will cause the rpm's to race and my 16 year old has the push hard on his brakes to get it to release. This could end up causing him to crash. Apparently it is an ongoing issue with this make and model. Please help. Thank you.
My first complaint is that my car stalls as I am actively driving. Whether I am using cruise control or physically pressing the gas pedal, the car just stalls out and I lose control of all steering function & have to try to get to the shoulder before I get slammed into on the highway. This happens at least twice weekly, all hours of the day or night, regardless of the weather or how much gas is in the tank, and I almost always have my children with me. There are not one, but two recalls for this specific issue which I just found today after months of internet searching because I never received any notices. The recalls are Chrysler campaign n52 and NHTSA campaign 13v043000 - so how is it that those recalls don't apply to my particular 2013 Chrysler 200? my second complaint is about the horn, and I'm not the only person who has dealt with this one either, there are several online forums. . . When I manually press the horn on the steering column, nothing happens. No sound, no beeps, no honks, nada. If I need to alert someone of my presence, I can't. (this actually caused me to get hit by another driver who was on her phone last December, and I saw her coming at me but I couldn't alert her). Now just because I can't manually make the horn go beep, doesn't mean it does not work. Oh it works. There's a horn in there some where that just randomly honks, every day, sometimes I'm driving, sometimes I'm in my house. The honks can be little blips or short beeps, but most of the time, it's just one very, very long continuous honk. When I'm driving and this happens people think I'm having an emergency and all start to move over to the far right lane, which is just dangerous. If I cause a wreck over distracting other drivers it wouldn't be good. I did have it looked at, the mechanic plugged in the diagnostic computer & said there was no error code and he couldn't see anything immediately that would cause the issue, so it was most likely electric and he'd need a code to know more.
I have had my 2015 Chrysler 200 for about a year now and ever since I have had it. It has acted weird. Evetime I am driving down a hill at a slow pace, I loose power as if my car just switched to neutral. It also jerks a lot when I am stopped on a hill going up and I start to go, then it will jerk like its delayed in the gears. I am very concerned for my safety. I have seen other recalls similar to this and I am hoping we can get this one on a recall as well. I have not had my car inspected yet because I cant afford it.
My car is not shifting correctly after the recent recall for a software update. My engine light came on the very next day. The problem happens mostly on the highway as I try to accelerate. My car runs between 3500-4500 rpms on the highway unless I am going downhill. I have to keep letting off the gas in order for the car to shift. I am not entering the highway at a safe speed because my car will not go. I am afraid this is going to cause a wreck. I am not sure if this is along the same problem, but my remote start stopped working correctly at the same time. I can start it with the remote, but it will only stay on for about 10 seconds, this is also not due to being low on gas. I called the dealer about this issue but they want to charge $150 to even look at the car.
Cruise control will randomly accelerate or decrease speed. Transmission won’t shift properly run high rpms then jump and eventually shift. Air bag constantly is pulling messages. Electrical and engine stalls.
Chyrlser 200 4cyl sedan. When driving on the freeway the car doesn't shift to the proper gear. The rpms would be between 6000-7000 and couldn't get over 60 mph. It has happened twice in the past month. The check engine light showed up the second time with a code p0882 transmission control module.
Says to shift into park and restart the car. Takes a few tries to turn on. Check engine light came on and performance shifting unavaliable notice showed up. Now it there is a herking motion everytime the gas is touched.
The car would accelerate downhill with cruise control on. It would shift abrupt at any moment.
While driving, my car will accelerate when depressing the brake. If cruise control is set to say 60 mph, the car will continue to accelerate well after the desired speed has been reached. When pressing the brake to disengage cruise control, the car will still try to accelerate for about 10 seconds, even while depressing the brake. I'm not sure if that is related to this, or if it is a separate issue, but my car will also stall out when coming to a stop or slowing down, especially if braking hard. When the engine stalls, power steering and braking are also lost. My car has stalled several times in the middle of intersections, on a busy highway coming to a red light or slowing down because of a hazard in front of me, and at stop signs. I also check my oil regularly, and do routine oil changes. When I check the oil, and when I have my oil changed, the oil level is almost always low, and has even been completely empty a couple times. I've confirmed that there is no leaking under the car. Sometimes I smell burnt oil coming from my car. I fill the oil up, and less than a month, and the oil is almost gone. More worrisome to me, is the fact that even though the oil was completely empty, my oil light never came on. So it was by luck that I checked the oil and noticed that it was empty because I wouldn't have otherwise known. My check engine light will come on from time to time, and I have it checked for the codes each time. The following are the codes that have shown up every single time: p2172; u1424; p106a.
Has happened on highway and city streets when I accelerate sometimes the rpms get stuck at 4000. And there is also lag from my acceleration when I take off and will get stuck at high rpms when I slow down while coasting and braking only way I've gotten it to stop is by tapping on my gas again.
Air bag light won't go out. My car also will not accelerate over 40 mph.
Car jerks, loses speed when taking off, may stall when when taking off this car does this when car is taking off, after sitting at light and has done so on highway causing possible fatal incidents. This is a consistant issue.
Wants to shut off while driving, while accelerating and slowing down right before complete stop. Dashboard does not give error code. Dashboard told wife to put in (p) while in (d) going down road around 15-20mph and accelerating and I found same problem and complaint online on many websites. I thought it might be battery before my internet research, but after battery check, battery in perfect condition. Just started happening yesterday evening after vehicle not used in 5-6 days. Not everyday driver vehicle. Tune-up/oil changes up to date.
My 2013 Chrysler 200 s keeps stalling. I replaced the fuel pump, bought a new battery, and had my alternator and transmission looked at, all the transmission shop found was an oil pressure code, and they cleared it.
As I was driving down the highway on September 12, 2020, I noticed that my steering wheel was hard to turn suddenly and my gas pedal and brake pedal were not working properly. The car would not move much and it wouldn't stop properly. Some lights lit up on my dash board. I brought my car into the shop a few days later. The mechanic hooked my car to a machine and nothing was really showing. He did something to reset my dashboard alerts and said that if it continued to bring it back. It did continue, so he ordered new coils for my car. I brought the car back in on September 29, 2020 for repair. The mechanic rechecked my car and he found metal flakes in the oil that he drained from my transmission. He said that is not normal for regular wear and tear.
Engine failure, speed control doesn't work, car keeps cutting off, does not pick up speed, jerks really bad, shifts gears by it self at times, air bags are recalled, the car has been at the Chrysler dealership for over 6 months they keep saying different things are wrong with it not sure completely what the issues are just know a few. I was told the car is still jerking and cutting off which was the problem when I brought the car in they are charging me almost $800 for work done and was promised the car would be fixed but the car still has the same exact issues from the moment I brought it in. And being told it is still not drivable after being worked in by Chrysler mechanics for over 6 months.
While my car is driving. The awd and traction control become unavailable, and my car stops having the ability to shift gears. It will go into n or when I slow down and pull over I'll try to put it in park and it will shift into every other gear but park.
My car tries to accelerate when coming to a stop. It randomly loses power. Does fine on highways so far. It only has issues when it involved gears shifting. I took it to a shop and they said it was dangerous to drive. They said it was not a transmission issue like the dealership shop said. It was a waiting issue. Likely associated with the recall I've had this shop "fix" twice.
First it was my transmission skipping, than my car keep skipping grasp, now it's lock in neutral my back tires will not move.
We turned onto a main road and we were in front of traffic driving down the road. We had to apply the brakes due to someone cutting us off, then when we tried to accelerate again it shut off and said shift to park while we were in the middle of a busy road. The car behind us almost crashed into us and had to swerve away from us. We had no control over our vehicle, all we could do is try to get the car to turn back on, to get out of traffic. However, we tried to and the car wasn't functioning correctly. The d for the drive position was blinking. We had to completely stop the car, in the middle of traffic, and hope that we didn't get hit by oncoming traffic coming from behind us due to having to control over our vehicle. We pushed the button to the ignition/start to start it and it wouldn't start it. It sounded like it had no power at all and then after a few attempts, while exposed and defenseless in the middle of the road with my family, it finally started and we got going again. This is not the first time this has happened, however, it's the first time it has with my family in the car. This car is unpredictable and unsafe due to that, my family at risk just going to the grocery store. It is our only means of transportation. We looked it up, it falls under crystler recall s55.
Car stalls or shuts down out of nowhere while driving, slowing down or coming to a stop, with no signs or warning. Has happened on multiple occasions, most recently April 16, 2020.
Friday morning on February 28th 2020 I was driving my Chrysler 200 to work. I was on a busy street that navigates through downtown where I work at. The speed limit is 35mph. As I was continuing to drive down the road my car shut off mid drive . I lost control of my power steering as well as my breaks. A car that was driving behind me almost rear ended me due to the lack of warning for the abrupt stop . This was a very terrifying experience, going from 35 mph to 0 mph , with no control of the wheel or breaks , I couldn't do anything but let the car coast and wave my hands out the drivers window to signal cars behind me to slow down and not hit me. My car came to a complete stop in the middle of an intersection, where I blocked busy traffic for over 45 minutes waiting on the tow truck I had to call . The car wouldn't start back up when I tried multiple times to restart it as the car was stuck in neutral with blinking lights appearing on the dashboard telling me to put the car in park , which I couldn't because the gears locked up and wouldn't move. As a consumer this is very disappointing and most importantly it's unsafe . I was 1 hour late to work and I travel with my children in this car . I loved my Chrysler and I'm very sad that I now have to look for a different car since I no longer feel safe driving this Chrysler 200, things like this makes the vehicle seem very unreliable and unsafe.
Vehicle shakes when idling, parked, stopped or when not in motion. Rpms drops below 1 when in park and this begins the vehicle to shake. Vehicle struggles to gain speed in which, it stays moderated then accelerates at once. As well as, at random times vehicle will jerk unexpectedly while in motion. All this has happened over a period of a year and just recently, service engine light has finally came on. I have had maintenance done on my end to help fix the issues and nothing can be resolved.
The vehicle randomly shuts off while driving. I can wait a few minutes and it starts back and runs fine.
During the past 2 months the car started turning off just minutes after we drove it off the parking lot. At night the car would be left overnight parked like any other regular car. Then me and my spouse would warm up the car before we would head to work and then we would drive off. The car would warm up after we turned it on and it would work good, it would not die. Until we actually changed gears and turned to drive it off the parking lot we would drive off a few streets and it would completely die in the middle of the streets atleast a f3 or 4 days out of the 7 day week. We changed the battery about 4 months ago and we went back to autozone but they tested the battery and said it was 100% charged so the issue wasn't the battery. We went to the dealer but they were trying to charge us over 1,000 because of a vacuum change in the system that has nothing to do with the car dying in the middle of the street. It's been 2 months already and I don't know what to do. Usually it shuts off when we decelerate the car not accelerate.
The light to get airbag serviced keeps coming on and going off. It has started stalling randomly while driving or coming to a stop. Noticed that it didn't do it as bad once car was warmed up, but then it dropped power while we were in traffic on a bridge overpass and we had to limp it home. Looked up the warning light meanings and it said we should not drive it as it will either lose power withoout warning and have to be limped or it will accerlerate and we would have no way to stop it. So I have a car that cannot be driven and I had seen that there were recalls for similar problems however, when I put my VIN number in, it said there were no unrepaired recalls for this VIN number.
