4 Engine Belts And Pulleys problem of the 2011 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 01/10/2019

I have been driving the car at speeds of between 15mpl to 70mph on country roads, highways and freeways when the engine simply shut off with no warning. This has happened 14 times during the last eight months between may 23, 2018, and January 10, 2019, 1/10/19 being last time it happened, although it has happened 14 times as indicated previously indicated. It was as if I had simply turned off the ignition. I have had the car into a dealership for repairs twice and neither me, the dealership technician nor the Chrysler agent the technician contacted has been able to determine the component part or system that could be the cause of the engine shutting down. On January 10, 2019, I was traveling on a busy freeway (beltway 8) kn houston TX and exited the off ramp onto 249 ((tomball parkway) when the engine stalled coasting to a stop in a moving lane of traffic with cars, trucks and 18-wheelers passing me at 50-60mps. I have attached a description of each time the engine stalled and repairs that were done and the work that was done on the car.

6 Engine Belts And Pulleys problem of the 2013 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 09/10/2016

My husband purchased this vehicle for me less than six months ago, I went to put gas in it on Saturday 09/10, got out and noticed a sweet burning smell, thought it was someone else's vehicle. I went to a store right across the street got out and noticed the same smell. I then realized it was my vehicle and proceeded to go home(which is a short distance), the temp light came on, the continuous ringing started(as if I wasn't wearing my seatbelt), other lights proceeded to come on. When I turned into my subdivision, the car began smoking. As I turned on my street, it didn't want to pull at all. I managed to get it into the dealership on Monday, but just got a call today and was told the head gaskets blew, and it will be $3000 to repair. I've read similar story's on this site from other 2013 Chrysler 200 owners, and am quite bothered, but I'm also wondering what's being done to rectify this before someone gets injured or killed?.

8 Engine Belts And Pulleys problem of the 2012 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 03/16/2016

Takata recall. . . I purchased the vehicle 2 months ago at darcars in marlow heights, MD and I have already put the car in the shop 4 times for different issues. The biggest issue is after 2 weeks the engine cut off on the beltway(I 95) while heading to the store. Thank the lord that I was able to get on the side lane but I was almost hit by 3 cars, also, 2 weeks after that while driving the engine became very, very loud on the road so I ended up putting it in the shop for 3 days. It is a shame that people/dealers can sell lemons. Please help me with issue to get my money back from the dealer. . . $12,000 I can be reached at (301)613-8819. Thanks!.
