1 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2013 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 03/18/2021

Vehicle died while driving 40-45 mph in traffic would not restart until after sitting for 30 min to 2 hours. There was no warning before it died, it was running normally. After it restarted the service engine light flashed then stayed on solid for a couple days. I was told it was the crankshft position sensor so I had that replaced. The car then 3 weeks later while driving started chugging really bad. I was then told the ignition coil on #2 cylinder was misfiring. I had that replaced along with all spark plugs and car ran the same after driving 4-5 miles then died and no restart. The repair shop found the #2 ignition coil melted into the valve cover and it had also cracked the valve cover. They replaced the valve cover and the #2 ignition coil and it happened again. The car is currently at the Chrysler dealership and premliminary estimate is an electrical problem sending too much voltage to that cylinder. So far there has been 2 ignition coils melted. I have been without ability to drive my car for 4 weeks now. Please put a recall on this problem !.

2 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2015 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 02/24/2020

Vehicle shakes when idling, parked, stopped or when not in motion. Rpms drops below 1 when in park and this begins the vehicle to shake. Vehicle struggles to gain speed in which, it stays moderated then accelerates at once. As well as, at random times vehicle will jerk unexpectedly while in motion. All this has happened over a period of a year and just recently, service engine light has finally came on. I have had maintenance done on my end to help fix the issues and nothing can be resolved.

3 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2015 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 10/30/2017

Car purchased 10/21/2016, 3 months later problems began. 01/16/2016 service air bag light came on and will not go off. Dealer said it is not covered under my extended warranty, for what reason I still don't know. Taken the car to 3 different shops to work on it and I keep being told it is a passenger seat connector, yet I have had this done 3 times now. . . $500 out of pocket each time, the light is still on as of 11/10/2017. Now the car also has a service engine light on constantly along with this airbag light. As well as of 10/25/2017 my car has began to tell me the engine is running hot while I'm driving, but the thermostat display inside never even gets to half. . So not sure about this now. As well as also telling me to service the electronic throttle control as soon as the overheat sensor goes off. Lastly I was at the gas station the other day and the car wouldn't start, it said the keyfob not detected but it was in my hand! had to google what to do. . (which is put nose of keyfob to button and press it that way if happens to anybody else) soo that would be a total of 4 different lights on at this time of 11/10/2017. Enterprise has yet to help me or get back to me on any of these issues. It was a rental car before I bought it from them, obviously they sold me a lemon! as I was getting an oil change on 11/01/17 I had them run codes and it and it read I needed a new thermostat to take care of the engine overheating and the etc light. . . Needless to say this has been a car from hell. I have filed complaints to enterprise about this car repeatedly especially with it all happening so soon after getting the car. I'm stuck with it now so I would love for somebody to know what there doing and actually fix this car!!!.

4 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2015 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 08/08/2015

My wife was driving home and the engine suddenly stopped without any warning. The electrical system continued to run, but no engine. The service engine light and battery light came on. She managed to get the car to the side of the road. She waited about 10 minutes and was able to restart the car and drive home ( about 10 miles). I drove the car to work and back ( about 24 miles round trip ) the next day without any problems. I drove the car the next day to work and it happened two times to me before I got to work. I called the dealer to have it towed in. I had done some research online to see if there were any other complaints when I found this website. I saw a complaint from someone in lakewood California that listed a recall #, (14113 ro1 recall wc 0. 50 to reprogram the pcm (power control module) and the tcm (trans control module)) so when we took the car to the dealer I gave them this information. They had the car 5 days and test drove it several times. They said they did the reprogramming and also secured a wiring harness ( which was also mentioned in several complaints) along with a couple of other updates that were covered under the warranty. We have the car back now, time and miles will tell if this was the solution or not.
