Vehicle Overheat Problems of Chrysler 200

In the past 3 years the active grille shutter had to be fixed 3 times. The check engine light would always come up for this issue after it was stationary or parked over night and then the light would come up when it was time to drive again. Finally the dealership fixed the the problem they said the transmission needed to be fixed. After the transmission was fixed my car now overheats after being idle for more than a few minutes. Also the passenger air bag sensor was fixed twice but lit up on my dashboard recently again.

Vehicle overheats after driving on highways and coming to an idle in traffic. There are no check engine lights, all liquids are topped off, car will then show no symptoms for a month or two later it will occur once again. Car randomly overheats in the most dangerous situations and there are no check engine lights that come up, while coolant is topped off. Examples of situations driving from san diego to la hour and 40 minutes into the drive we exit the freeway go to a drive-through at carl's jr. And the car begins to overheat there are no check engine lights and coolent was at the correct level, we pulled over allowed car to cool down, continued with our drive no other situation of car overheating return to san diego 2 hour drive no signs of overheating for the next two months. I'm driving through traffic car begins to overheat pull over and allow car to cool no signs of overheating for the next few weeks. About four other situations of the same nature occurred since, the car continues to indicate nothing is wrong yet the car continues to overheat.

Vehicle keeps overheating and shutting off by itself while in motion on the highway. First I was told it was the thermostat malfunctioning and now a converter. The car stalls and shuts off with the inability of restarting. Started happening four mths ago.

First engine light come up then car started to overheat. Coolant temp. 185 and car overheat. Panel read engine temperature too hot . . I cannot drive the car because this problem code p0128(thermostats) and p2181(coolant system) came up.

Engine is revving high, vehicle stall on the highway over five times, vehicle over heats, vehicle has a winning noise, vehicle transmission jumps plenty of time, vehicle rev, vehicle has slow acceleration, vehicle has slow start up, vehicle steering is rattling.

The engine light came on and the car was overheating the car was rolling backwards when at stop light . Problem was heat sensor. Transmission went twice on 3/10/2015 and 3/19/2014 both times I was driving with my granddaughter in the car and due to the deceleration caused by the transmission I was almost rear ended by truck behind me.
