Throttle stuck causing the vehicle to accelerate in a parking garage while coming around a turn at approx. 10-15 mph. Brakes were applied with both feet, full force, but the car continued to accelerate. Causing damage to 4 vehicles. Totaling the Chrysler 300, and 3 parked vehicles. One Lincoln mkz SUV, Honda SUV, and a Ford f-150. Skid marks were left indicating the vehicle was not slowing down. No personal injuries, but several thousand of dollars in property damage. Police report was taken, but is not yet available. Report # is 16-2335 with the lansing township police department-lansing, michigan. Incident date 5-23-2016.

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 35 mph, the throttle became stuck and the vehicle unintended increased to 95 mph as the warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle failed to slow down and the engine revved rapidly. The contact's foot was placed underneath the accelerator pedal in order to decrease the vehicle¿s speed and the engine was turned off. After restarting, the vehicle was driven with caution. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 102,000.
