1 Other Fuel System Hoses Lines/piping, And Fittings problem of the 2006 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 07/15/2015

Stalls out while driving after I fill it up with gas. It has happened several times and twice while I was at an intersection on the take off. . . It has happened while riding down the road right after I filled it up with gas. I make sure the cap is tight and I do not overfill tank, when gas pumps stops, I do not add anymore. It happens only after fill up and after it shuts off, or jerks several times it seems to run ok. It is very scary and there is no warning when it happens.

2 Other Fuel System Hoses Lines/piping, And Fittings problem of the 2006 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 04/08/2014

After fueling my car, I have problems with my car stalling until I run some fuel out of my car. Now after I still have more then 3/4 tank of gas, my car will act fuel starved going down the freeway to an almost stall then come back on by itself. I am the original owner of this car and never heard from the dealer of a gas tank, charcoal filter recall and now it is canceled???.

3 Other Fuel System Hoses Lines/piping, And Fittings problem of the 2011 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 07/16/2013

Check engine light came on 2 blocks from home. Parked the car. The next evening we could smell gas from our front porch, ten feet from the car. Curious we opened the car and the passenger compartment was pungent from the odor of gas. Called aaa and towed to local car repair. Plastic cap on top of the fuel tank located below rear passenger seat failed, access to 2nd fuel pump. The plasic failure allowed gas leak. The repair shop indicated the plastic cap appeared deteriorated from fuel. We had the pump and cap replaced. Very concerned about the material in the cap, and the danger in the passenger compartment for consequential gas leak.
