"takata recall" on Nov. 04,2015 a car pulled out in front of me. I had the right of way and was moving approx. 30-35mph. I t-boned the other vehicle. The airbags failed to deploy. There were 2 other passengers other than myself. The driver had hit his leg under the dash. I was in the front passengers seat and bothe my knees hit the lower part of the dash. My seat belt did work on impact and I went to the hospital by ambulance. My daughter inlaw was in the back seat behind the drivers side and she suffered 2 bumps on her head. As for me, I didnt have any broken bones but I sufered severe bruising. I was in shock and minutes after the accident I started feeling sharp pains to the left part of my chest constantly like needles stabing over and over. It was difficult for me to breath. I couldn't get a full breath. The last few days I've started having muscle spasms in my left side of my neck and upper left arm/shoulder. Other pain I've been having I've explained to the doctor and others and they tell me that it is my siatic (don't know how to spell it) nerve. If I stand wrong or reach up with my arms the pain goes from my lower back and all the way down the back of my legs. It's a deep aching pain that seems to be aggrivating. It is worse in the mornigs or when it it cold. I have to take muscle relaxers, dont know if there is any permanent damage. Only time will tell. Cat scan and x-rays came back ok. No broken bones. I have the police report of the incident but at this time I do not have the resources to scan and download. If its needed I can provide it at a later time. I have an attorney.

Tl-the contact owns a 1999 Chrysler 300m. The contact stated the air bags failed to deploy when the driver lost control and crashed into a telephone pole. No injuired reported. I was stopped at a red light vehicle behind me did not stop and rear ended me. Both front seats in my car let loose and the seat backs went fully reclined. My wife and I were both laying on our backs with heads on the back seat. The car was still moving, it was hard for me to get upright and stop the car. Chrysler told me the seats are designed this way. Here is what they said "the seats in your vehicle. Our design to progressively tilt just during a rear impact collision. The idea behind that, is that it does lesson injuries to the front seat vehicle occupants once that happens so that would be a normal occurrence for your vehicle in a rear end collision". I say bullshit. If someone was in the back the seat would have broken their legs. It was not a"progressive" tilt, they flew back. They air bags did not deploy.

Was struck on front passenger side of car by oncoming vehicle. Airbags did not deploy on impact.
The dashboard cover is cracking in two places which are directly above the drivers side air bag. The air bag appears to be expanding underneath the dash cover. The air bag may not properly deploy if there is a collison. Auto is out of warranty and Chrysler has refused to inspect or repair this situation although there was a recall for the same vehicle with slightly different assembly dates. Chyrsler owner's manual warns against any repairs to the air bag except by their authorized dealers. I have seen this condition in the same model and year of manufacture, and there are several reports in the NHTSA data base.
A little under 50,000 miles when I got the vehicle. About a month later two vertical cracks appeared along the seams of where the airbag deploys. A friend informed me that they knew someone who had cracks in their dash too. . . In the same location! I thought that this was unusal. I did a little research and found out that this wasn't an isolated incident. Several other 300m owners experience the same problem. There is indeed a problem with the materials used. I called repair shops and they said they would not touch it (due to the proximity of the air bag/ legal issues) I'm afraid that in the event of an accident the air bag will not deploy properly and will cause bodily injury to a passenger if this issue is not resolved .
About a year and a half ago, I noticed that on the passenger side dash, a 1" crack had started to develop around the air bag of my 2000 Chrysler 300m. I am the crack is now on both sides of the air bag and each are at least 10" long. I am concerned that the airbag will not deploy properly. My local Chrysler dealer said to fix it with a vinyl repair kit, but it would be unsightly. I am very disappointed to have such a new car have this dash condition.
Consumer states that there is a crack on the passener side dash. Consumer is concern that the vehicles airbag may or may not deploy. Please provide any further information. Ts.
The car was in the park position with the engine running. When the car was shifted into the drive position, it suddenly surged forward at a great and uncontrolled rate of speed. The car struck the rear side of the recreational vehicle, becoming impaled on it. The recreational vehicle was hit with such force that it was turned about thirty degrees counterclockwise. The recreational vehicle then struck a neighbor's parked vehicle. All three vehicles sustained significant damage. Additionally, both the driver and passenger airbags failed to deploy.
The dash on my car is splitting in the seam of the passenger side airbag. There is obviously a manufacturer's defect with airbag system. Chrysler has refused to repair the problem. I think that there is a possibility of the airbag not deploying properly.
Involved in a front end 50mph accident/airbags did not deploy.
Was involved in an accident where I hit a tree dead on going about 35 mph, and airbags never deployed. The front of the car is "totalled" however, it can be repaired. Exact damage cost have yet to be figured, but it will be betwee $3000-$5000. The car is only 6 months old.
When applying abs brakes pedal went to the floor, causing extended stopping distance, and resulting in a collision. Also, rear passenger's seat belt did not lock up, seatback collasped, and the air bags did not deploy. Please give any furher details.
While driving hit median concrete and ran into some trees head-on, airbags did not deploy. Vehicle totaled. Dealer contacted.
While waiting at a stop sign vehicle was involved in a head-on collision. Upon impact, air bags not to deploy.
