Warning Light On Problems of Chrysler Aspen

Vehicle in motion, air bag light comes on while driving, just started a about 5 months ago and only a few times in the beginning, now it happens more often, light will go off then a ding sound for warning light is on . Others may have had a recall but mine didn't come up as any recalls with my VIN . But is this a start to a problem? please respond with an answer to that question, ty.
