The engine cradle is completely rusted through and motor mounts as well. I took into a shop,he refused to fix my idle pulley and told us it's unsafe to drive our 2006 Chrysler Pacifica.

I have been told that my engine cradle is rusted beyond repair and will need replacing. Chrysler recalled 2004-2005 in rust belt areas to replace engine cradle. This issue affects 2004-2008 which my car is a part of. This rust issue could cause the motor to fall out from the engine cradle and cause serious safety risk.

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that the driver's seat belt failed to function, the service engine indicator illuminated, and there was an internal leak emitting from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was serviced per NHTSA campaign number: 06v432000 (power train); however, the fuel pump module was not replaced. The technician was unable to determine where the vehicle was leaking. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer on several occasions, but the failure was unable to be replicated or diagnosed. The contact was waiting for a response from the manufacturer to determine the recommended repair solution. The approximate failure mileage was 147,000.
