1 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 06/11/2019

The vehicle has made transmission noises from 11k miles on. They immediately replaced the first transmission, then second one behaved the same. There is a clunking noise when you touch the gas. I filed complaint, took it back in numerous times, they claim "it just does that" now the vehicle is difficult to accelerate in dangerous situations, pushing down the gas, the car does not shift appropriately.

2 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 05/18/2018

At a stop light in the turn lane I lifted my foot off the brake to drive as the light turned green. I hit the gas and nothing happened. I looked and the screen said to put the car in park. I put the car in park and then the screen said that I needed to stop/start restart the car. I turned the car off and tried turning it back on. There was a clicking noise, the engine would not start but everything else powered back on. I did this a couple of times and every time I tried starting the car there was just clicking and it would not start. I turned the car off again, opened the car door so that everything would power off. I then closed the door and it started back up.

3 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 03/20/2018

Purchased vehicle in August 2017 and have been experiencing problems since then. Grinding noise started to occur around 1000 miles. It would occur intermittently around surface street driving speeds. Sound appeared to come from driver side. Harder grinding noise occurred around 7000 miles intermittently, with it occurring both in cruise control and out of cruise control. Lurching forward when shifting gears also occurred around the 1000 mile mark. Was told this was "normal". But how can it be normal when the vehicle is brand new. Was told the softer grinding noise and louder grinding noise were both normal and result of power steering. However, I wasn't ever steering when the sounds occurred. Lastly, the biggest complaint is that the car stalled twice around 13,000 miles. Both times at the stop-light (thank god) and accelerating. First time the entire electrical component shut off. Placed the car into park and pushed the "start" button again. The second time the car would not accelerated, instead lurched forward as if we were being rear-ended, made a loud clunk noise and just stopped. Both times no accidents occurred thank god. Regardless, the safety of my family should not at this much risk when we purposely bought a brand new vehicle with all safety features.

4 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 11/13/2017

Vehicle lost motive power while attempting to excelerate from a stop on a city street. Vehicle was restarted but loud clunking noise and violent shaking came from engine compartment. Vehicle was towed and has been at the local dealer since with little communication about a prognosis or permanent fix.
