The steering is loose. While turning there is a knock, turning into a parking space or backing out of a drive way, while in park and turning the steering wheel. I took my van in 1 and a half weeks after my warranty expired and they said I needed a new rack and pinion which was going to be over $4000,00! the dealership advised me to call Chrysler to see if they would cover it, they did not. After further research, it is shown that if a rack and pinion is bad, the front end could fall apart at any time. I only have 36k miles on my van that is 2 years old. That is ridiculous to me, and this is a safety concern. Especially in a family vehicle such as a van.
