On my way home from work on Friday June 22nd, the car was running very rough and I had trouble braking. On Monday June 25. I had been at a stoplight. When the light turned green I accelerated and when I was at about 25 mph I stepped on the gas pedal, tand had trouble gaining speed and the control light came on. I turned on my flashers and made it to a mechanic, but by that time the light had gone off. Every mechanic I have talked to tells me they can not determine the problem is and fix it unless the light is on when I bring in the car. When the light is on I have trouble accelerating and braking is very hard. This has happened numerous times and I believe this is a safety hazard and could cause serious accidents. I don't know what to do to get this fixed - no one seems to want to deal with this.

Unable to stop 2009 Chrysler Sebring at a stoplight and rear-ended the SUV in front of me; car should have stopped in time but brakes appeared to lock, causing the Chrysler to "skid" into the car in front of me.
When I applied the brakes pedal the car will come to a stop, but the steering wheel would shake. Took the car to a Chrysler dealer. The technician said that the front rotor were warped, he recommend that they cut the rotor and that would fix the problem. It fix the problem, but after 6000 mile later the problem return. I replace the front rotor and the problem went away. It cost me $250. 00. This problem was not cover by the warranty.
Rented car with dangerous brakes system ( poor repair ).
Intermittent abs and traction control warning light illuminate during drive pavement conditions. Have taken this to dealership and they say this is normal. Found real notice (campaign 06v493000). Apparently they still can not get this corrected with this recall. The dealership has had this vehicle twice for the same problem. When this happen the abs engages and it almost pulled me off the road it was braking so hard!.

Driving north on I-75 I lost control over my 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible - the car veered left crossed one lane and hit the median concrete divider. 2 failures were the brakes and the steering became unresponsive as I was unable to apply the brakes and unable to steer the car. There was no skid marks reported by the police report. The driver airbag ripped and did not successfully blow. The passenger airbag deployed properly. I suspect that the main cause cause of this accident was the lack of steering, which caused the car to veer left and hit the center concrete divider. The car is currently in storage in royal oak, michigan and is a total loss.
The braking system on our 2002 Chrysler Sebring seems inadequate. Hard applicaton on a very cold and wet road at highway speeds does not result in brake lock up. I understand lock up is bad, but certainly the car should have enough braking power to lock the brakes under those conditions.
While driving the vehicle and the consumer applied the brake the pedal will go down and wont release back, and the vehicle can experience extended stopping distance. Dealer has been notified. Please provide further information. Ts.
I have called the Chrysler corporation about the draining holes of my Sebring and they have said there is no problem. I've asked a couple of people and they said that the holes are too small. My car will get destroyed at this rate. When it was still under warranty they could not figure out the problem at the dealer they thought it was from the convertible top or the seals of the windows. Now I know what the problem is but they say there are no recalls on this problem. I don't know what to do anymore.
