3 months ago I began hearing sqeaky noises from the rear of the car when I go over a bump and uneven road. 2 weeks ago, my vehicle began to slightly wobble at low speed, as if the tire had went bad. 3-4 days later, after a few days I began hearing humming noises from the tire rotation. The noise gets louder with acceleration and coasting down a hill. Now its a knocking sound included, as if a piece of my tire component has fallen off. The repair shop informed me of a bad wheel bearing that I replaced. I was advised to get new tires due to irregular wear pattern and then an alignment. The following day I purchased 3 brand new tires. My vehicle still makes these noises and appears to be getting worse everyday. Thus led to my research online. The description that this recall lists and the symptoms resulting from these parts in the recall is exactly what I'm going through now.

Very, very loud squeeking and rubbing sound coming from the front end of the car while turning the steering wheel or when driving over small bumps in the road. This happens while in park, driving at low or higher speeds, and in reverse. As soon as the steering wheel is moved, the loud noise starts. I'm concerned that this could be dangerous. Dt.

On Jan 1999 I was going to work an my steering wheel locked and I could not steer the car so I lost control and hit an enbankment. I took the car in to be serviced and the said it was my fault because there was a wire underneith the car that caused the belt to come off but the wire was there due to me hitting the enbankment. Also inside the car under the steering the carpet is burned, and the car 's steering is not right iv'e taken it to be balanced and aligned and nothing seems to help. Also there is a recent recall. I would like previous damage to vehicle fixed. Due to the steering. I also don't know if it is safe tobe traveling in the vehicle.

Floor mat became jammed in the bottom of the steering column. Steering wheel would not turn. Was extremely diffcult to remove floor mat, had it happened on the highway instead of the driveway, I would not have been able to drive at all.
Vehicle shimmies constantly, the intensity varies the the rate of speed and road conditions. Steering wheel vibrates constantly and jerks right and left when vehicle hits bumps. The side view mirrors shake when vehicle travels on any non-smooth road conditions.
Design of the steering wheel column is uncovered above the gas and brake pedal which caused floor mat the be stuck resulting in loss of steering ability.
