Underbody Shield Problems of Chrysler Sebring

The convertible top would stop half way in the process of going down. We found that in the trunk there is a small plastic piece at the end of the compartment hinge that cradles the top was missing. We were able to buy a bolt metal piece similar to plastic and use weld glue to adhere it. Secondly, that problem caused the plastic flap that is under the window in the interior to break which needed to be replaced and third, the interior roof panels came unglued exposing all the components that works the convertible top. We had to reglue and repair panel.

On my 2004 Chrysler Sebring touring conv. , while parked I observed the passenger rear tire leaning out at the bottom and leaning in at the top of the tire. It was very noticeable that something was wrong. I dropped the crossmember frame from the rear of the vehicle and found out that both bolts were broke off on the passenger rear upper control arm. Fortunately I was able to remove the broken bolts pieces without any problems.

I bought a used car from a licensed inspection station and used car dealer 28 days after I bought the car I found out the frame was rotted and it should have never passed inspection the place I bought the car inspected it when I told the dealer about it he refused to refund my money or return my calls I don't believe that a used car dealer like this should be in business and would like something done this could have caused injuries to my family.
