Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle were defective and would refuse to open. The NHTSA campaign id number: 09v046000 (electrical system:fuses and circuit breakers) recall was issued, but the VIN was not associated. The dealer and manufacturer were notified, but denied any assistance with repair to the defect. A local mechanic diagnosed that a defective wire (that continues to snap in half) would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 75,000 and the current mileage was 84,161. Nw.
