The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. The contact noticed an egg smell coming from the vehicle. She also observed that the vehicle was emitting hydrogen sulfate into the atmosphere. The dealer recommended placing a different type of gasoline in the vehicle. She also stated that occupants in the rear of the vehicle would experience stomach aches and headaches while traveling. The dealer also stated that there may be an issue with the catalytic converter. The vehicle has not been repaired. The failure and current mileages were less than 26,000.

2 Engine Exhaust System problem

Failure Date: 12/13/2007

The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. When the contact started the ignition, the passenger compartment suddenly smelled like rotten eggs. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, but they could not duplicate the odor. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer four times, but there were no resolutions. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 1,403 and current mileage was 26,000.

3 Engine Exhaust System problem

Failure Date: 10/31/2007

Metal clang from catalytic converter shield since I had vehicle new. Dealer said nothing they can do. Never had this problem in any vehicle. Rattling from slider door, cannot isolate. I have let it go but now it bothering me about the clanging.
