The vehicle has an ongoing inability to start without any issues being found. The alternator was replaced, the battery was replaced, the radiator was repaired with the thought that was an issue. The doors open on their own, not just unlock but open. The stability control is always going on even after being repaired and repairing any possible causes. The incidents occur in both stationary and in motion the causes are still unknown.
The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler town and country. While driving approximately 25 mph, light gray smoke appeared from the hood. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 149,000. The VIN was not provided.
Car started smoking on near drivers side with an awful smell. Was able to drive to a dealer who determined that the radiator needed to be replaced. I paid over $950 dollars. As I drove away from the dealership, the same smell and smoking occurred. I took the vehicle to pep boys where it was determined that the rear heater hose assembly needed to be replace. From what I can determine from researching that Chrysler knows the "y" plastic part is faulty and does not sell just the "y" part of the unit. Consumers are forced into buying a heater hose and line assembly for over $100. The dealership did not take responsibility for this.
