Tl the contact owns a 2010 Chrysler town and country. When the key was inserted in the ignition switch, the contact heard an abnormal clicking noise and the vehicle failed to start. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact changed the battery and had to hit the starter with a hammer. The vehicle was towed to gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram (5054 GA-78, stone mountain, GA 30087, (404) 492-6831) on several occasions where it was diagnosed that the starter, ignition, two keys, wiring, and engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but they could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. The failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The failure mileage was 103,450.
