the consumer has experienced numerous problems with the vehicle as follows the replacement of front struts, defective lower ball joints and as a result a new set of tires had to be replaced. To date two recalls have been issued safety recall# 827 and #967 and the motor company declared that the vehicle did not need to be repaired. After having spent over $700. 00 in repairs the consumer is disgraced and wants the problem reviewed also have assistance in paying for repairs that are obviously due to a defect.

While driving at any speed therewas a loud under carriage noise coming from the ball joints. The noise was mild at first, but then the noise really became loud. Consumer was shown a printout by dealership which did not include this vehicle in recall 99v066003 daimler/Chrysler/lower ball joint boot.

Consumer states vehicle had a rattle that seemed to extend through the entire vehicle, dealer stated the noise was coming from the brakes, however the consumer declined these repairs, the dealer later found the problem was due to a cracked engine mount, they found a crack on the rear right side and another on the left front side, consumer had another inspection in which another person stated there were no problems with the brakes or motor mount, the problem was with the lower control arm joints, consumer had recall repairs previously, 00v421002, the independent garage made repairs to the joints and the vehicle is no longer experiencing any of the problems, consumer is requesting reimbursement.
Prior to recall 00v421002, consumer had some repair work done to the recall part, however when receiving recall notice, dealership refused to replace the part in question, consumer requests reimbursement for prior work and requests that recall be completed on vehicle.
The recall repairs regarding the ball joints failed within 1 year, consumer had to bear the financial responsibility to have them replaced. Recall # 00v421002.

Vehicle was included in lower arm ball joint recall 00v421002. After first inspection in October 2001, part failed on 8-3-02. Arms and joints were actually replaced. Currently, compression arm ball joint cracked just as the latteral arm ball joint that was recalled. Please describe details.
Consumer received a recall notification and made an appointment, however when she arrived the parts were not available, a week later the parts came and consumer took vehicle back and hours later consumer was informed that another day was needed to complete the work.
Recalled lower ball joint (99v-066) failure was the possible cause of accident which occured prior to recall notification, the cause of the accident was never determined due to other circumstances. Nlm.
After recall repair 99v-066 of the lower ball joint the consumer was driving down the road when the front axle fell off without warning, the vehice was towed back to the dealer where consumer was told that the problem was related to the recall (attorney for client). Nlm.
Recall repair regarding the ball joints was complete on vehicle, however the wheel came loose while driving, also the ball joint fell apart and now consumer has to pay for the suspension and body damages.
The part for the ball joint recall was on back order, the consumer has waited 4 months and the part is still not in. Nlm.
Lower control arm and ball joint are punctured and leaking due to prior recall (99v-066). Yh.
