Car Stall problems of the 1996 Dodge Caravan

While driving at low speeds vehicle stalled. Consumer was able to restart the vehicle. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

While driving at highway speed the vehicle stalls causing lost of power steering. Ts.

While driving and without warning vehicle completely shutsdown, cause unknown. Consumer states dealer disconnected safety locks, alarm system, and keyless entry, they think it will solve the problem but it didn?t, still vehicle stalls and starts every time after 20 minutes.

Vehicle stalls while coming to a stop at 25 mph. Has stalled 4-5 times. Dealer cannot find a problem.

Vehcile stalls and cuts off while going down the road at all types of speed, steering is lost. Engine can be restarted after it cuts off. Dealer has been contacted three times for this problem, but is unable to duplicate problem.

The engine went out while driving on the highway at a high speed of 55 mph. Driver was able to get off road safely. This happened again the following week (3) times on parkway with slower traffic. Caravan was towed to dealer August 14th because it stalled (6) times that day. Dealer cannot find a problem.

Consumer states the vehicle stalls under very specific conditions such as warm days in July and August, near the end of a drive of least one hour or when consumer has to slow down, after a few minutes consumer is able to restart the vehicle.
