Had a radiator fan relay recall on 1996 Dodge Caravan replaced 3 times and radiator fan still continues to come on at various times when car is not running, running battery dead, front w/s wiper blades comes on by itself, lost fm stereo frequency all together. Cannot depend on this with 2 small children.
Vehicle is leaking green coolant and knocking very loudly, consumer took vehicle to a mechanic, and he stated engine fan was not working and causing vehicle to run hot, took vehicle to dealer, and they stated that by fans not working, and causing knocking and leak. There is a recall on radiator fan relay. Driver is having recall performed.

I received a radiator fan relay recall, could this defective relay help the major transmition seals fail? if so, is Dodge/Chrysler respnsible for the $1300 repair of the faulty transmision seals? if so, how do I file a claim with the manufacturer? the transmission repair shop claims the seal failure was due to extreme heat, he stated that the seals were very brittle, like dry noodles, nothing like the soft rubber that they should resemble.
The engine cooling fan stopped working while vehicle was being driven, and smoke started coming out of the vehicle. Engine overheated. Dealer has vehicle right now.
