Nine problems related to engine oil leaking have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer noticed engine consumed one quart of oil every week due to a oil leak from the crankshaft. Dealer was notified.
Consumer noticed engine was consuming two quarts of oil every 1,000 miles. Also, oil was leaking through the head gasket.

We noticed that our minivan was leaking oil on the ground. Took vehicle to repair shop. Stated that we had a faulty cylinder head gasket requiring replacement.
