After refueling our 2007 Dodge grand Caravan, it stalled after going less than a mile. We were making a turn at the time. We lost power steering since the engine stalled & the check oil light came on. We were able to get it to the side of the road. After turning it off for a little while, we got it to restart but after driving less than a mile & turning again, it stalled again. This has been happening after refueling off & on for the past six months. Once we were in an intersection & it happened. Thank goodness we got it restarted & out of the intersection. It was a very scary situation. We brought it to a Dodge dealership & they had never heard of the problem & didn't find anything wrong with it. We just don't know what we are to do at this point. I'm scared to drive it myself let alone let my 15 year old drive it with her learner's permit.

Consumer applied brakes at 40 mph, pedal went to the floor, no braking action. Consumer shifted to park to stop vehicle, engine stalled. Dealer could not find a cause. On 2 may 2001, rear drums were found to be out of round and were resurfaced. On 31 Jan 2002 dealer checked brakes due to vibration and stated brakes had 50 percent left. Dealer has replaced both rear drums and also informed consumer that the brake shoes needed replaced, the rear wheel cylinder was replaced and rear brakes have been adjusted. Transmission had to be thrown into park while driving, dealer could not find any problems.

Engine stalled at 35 mph. Would restart with transmission in nuetral but would stall again when drive engaged. Several attempts made to restart vehicle, vehicle finally restarted and operating normally.

While driving in the inside lane on a three lane expressway at 65 mph, the van simply died. Fortunately, there was a left shoulder on the highway that I was able to pull off onto. I was able to immediately restart the van and proceed on my trip from wisconsin to michigan. I have expressed concern on the engine periodically stalling at the dealer in sheboygan, WI. They were never able to discover what the problem was. About two months ago, I took the van to the Dodge dealer in monroe, michigan and expressed my concerns about the car periodically stalling. They supposedly did a diagnostic test on the van but were unable to determine what the problem is. This is the first time that the van has actually stalled while being driven at highway speeds. In the past, the van had stalled upon first being started, while pulling into a driveway and under similar situations. The cruise control had a tendancy to vary on the speed control. I'm wondering if this is possibly tied into the enging problem. I drive between monroe, mi and sheboygan, WI about every two months and have to drive through chicago. I need to be able to rely on my vehicle.

Engine will stall during deceleration, usually in the 20-40 mph range. This has occurred over 20 time during the last 6-9 months. On two occasions the stall nearly caused a rear end mva while my three children were passengers. Local dealer unable to indentify or duplicate problem. Vehicle been experiencing ongoing / intermittent problem with engine stalling. Problem occurs in slow or high speed or at a stop position, and when applying the acelerator pedal from a stop position. Vehicle been in/out of dealer shop on four occasions, and nothing could be found.

Ongoing problem with engine stalling when air conditioning is being used. Vehicle been dealer shop on several occasions, and they were not able to locate cause.

The evaporater control canister leaks and the engine stalls. Constant fule smell inside and outside if vehicle, smell only goes away when tank is 1/4 full, problem is getting worse in summer heat, have to drive with windos open to avoid nausea and headaches.
