2 Ignition Module problem of the 2009 Dodge Caravan

Failure Date: 01/18/2016

Wireless ignition node module recall. Dealer advises I must be put on a waiting list and that it will be months before he will have the parts because the company will only ship one part at a time. He said they would not ship the quantity that he needed. This should be unacceptable if it a safety issue! parts are mass produced to meet auto manufacturers needs. Assembly lines do not wait on parts to be shipped one at a time!!!!!.

4 Ignition Module problem of the 2010 Dodge Caravan

Failure Date: 05/16/2015

I received an "importtant safety recall" notice for the wireless ignition node module of my Dodge Caravan in may 2015. It is important for my safety concerns and vehicle reliability. I went to the dealer for the free correction-upgrade and repair in may. They told me the part is not in, be in next week, next week, in a few days. . . . . . On and on. . . Etc. . . . . . . . . . Made me several appointments and the parts never arrived, thus wasting my time and weekly scheduling. If I call they get annoyed with my call, if I go there they get annoyed for my requested and required by law, free repair. They promise, next week, you are on our list, you will be soon, let me leave a note. . . . . It seems like a scam. Now it is October 21, 2015 and it still has not happened. They were again annoyed with yesterdays visit and gave many excuses and of no help. They keep giving excuses for not performing this safety recall. Something very strange is going on here and they seem to be ignoring their customers safety of which the repair is required by law to be performed. . . . . . After all. . . . . It is a safety recall! I am considering future lawsuit/or class action lawsuit with many others who are very unhappy with chysler/b&b Dodge. Please take care of this. The dealer is b&b Dodge, 125 grandview Ave, honesdale, PA 18431. Telephone number: 570-253-12909. The repair is replacement of "the wireless ignition module" (win), replacement of the frequency operated button ignition keys (fobik) and ignition switch, etc. This is all fully described on my fca safety recall. . . . . . . . . . R03/NHTSA/14v-373. By the way, after all of this aggrivation, I am considering my next vehicle not to be a Chrysler product. Thank you very much. Robert sechler.
