Spare Tire Problems of Dodge Caravan

The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Caravan equipped with kumho tires, size: 235/60r16. The contact stated that the low air indicator illuminated on the instrument panel, informing her that one of the tires was low on air. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop and the contact was informed that the front passenger tire was low on air. The contact was informed that there were numerous bubbles along the sidewall of the tire. A spare tire was installed as a replacement. The manufacturer offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 11,000.

The contact owns a 2000 Dodge Caravan equipped with cornell cornell 1000 tires, size 205/75/r14. The contact stated that when driving at various speeds, the rear driver side tire experienced tread separation. The tire was replaced with the spare tire. The manufacturer of the tire was contacted and they advised that they would need to inspect the vehicle and the tire. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.

On may 24, 2006,I got a flat tire. I removed the spare tire to put on the van. Then I wound the part that holds the spare time back up. After replacing the tire, I wanted to put the spare back underneath. The bottom piece would not release. It was taken to the dealership and they fixed. They did not say how it was fixed. They said it would be fine. Then this week, I got another flat tire. I again removed the spare and put it on the van. I wound the part that holds the spare tire. After replacing the tire, I wanted to put the tire back underneath. Again, the part that holds the spare tire will not release and I have to take it back to the dealership to get repaired.
