The contact owns a  2005 Dodge grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving at 30 mph , the contact stated the front driver tire detached from the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to her residence and then towed to a independent mechanic shop. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated that the independent mechanic did not duplicate failure and only stated the fee for repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 157,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge grand Caravan equipped with cooper, tire line: evolution tour, tire size: 215/65/r1698t, dot number not available: the contact stated while driving 60 mph, the driver’s side front tire experienced blowout causing the steering wheel to shake. The contact was able to pull over safely and replace the tire. The failure reoccurred again but on the front passenger side the tire experienced a blowout as well. The dealer was contact, and they stated that there was nothing they could do because the tire did not have warranty. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,393.

Tire cracking and tread separation on tourmax gft sold by eldorado. Its not in your list. Poor wear characteristics. I took my car in to an alignment shop because it was pulling toward the center of the road. I was informed that a near new tire had stress cracks and tread separation and the alignment and inflation pressure was ok. Two more of the same tires on the same car were wearing unusually fast with no alignment issues. I feel these tires have the potential to be unsafe. The tourmax gft from eldorado has not instilled safety confidence.

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Dodge Caravan with yokohama avid tires, size 225/65/r17. The contact stated while driving, she notice a vibration from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a independant mechanic who could not diagnosis the problem. The tire was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 45,000.

15" cooper lifeliner GLS tires of various ages from new to 2 years old are cracking on the inside edge near the rim. We have approximately 38 tires showing this condition. 2000 Dodge Caravan, eastbound when left front tire came off of the vehicle. Unit 1 came to final rest on the right berm. Tire was located on the westbound side by ohio turnpike maintenance. There was damage to the left front tire, left front hub and left front quarter panel. ( ohio traffic crash report # 10-0550-90).

The contact stated that the tread belt on all four tires was severely dry rotted. The vehicle was taken to a tire center and the four tires were replaced with a different brand of tires. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Caravan with pep boys definity ex600/p215/70r15 tires. The top layer on all four of the tires are peeling off. The tires was taken back to pep boys . She was advised that they would prorate the price because there are recalls no recalls on the tires pep boys definity ex600/p215/70r15 but on other models.

A sale of a tire in March 2009 from a local dealer that failed after two weeks in which it was made in July 2001.

I have received two different douglas 215/70r 15bwx-tracii tires. Both have separated on me. The tires are no longer usable. I am not happy with the quality of tire. These occurrences happened within 2 months of each other.

The contact owns a 2002 Dodge Caravan. The vehicle has pep boys futura 2000 radial lte tires, size p215/70r/15. While driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle vibrated drastically. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and it was discovered that the front driver side and both rear tires were separating. The tires have not yet been replaced. These were not the original tires on the vehicle. The VIN and dot number were unknown. The failure mileage was 84,000 and current mileage was 86,906.

Tires worn out after only 30,000 miles and rotated often.

These tires (bridgestone turanza el42 ? 215/65r16) were oem on my 2007 Dodge Caravan with a firestone/bridgestone warranty. At 10,000 miles I noticed a pull to the right. I purchased a lifetime alignment and rotated the tires at b/f. After another 1300 miles, the pull was a harder right. F/b checked the alignment, stating it was good and told me this was a "belt" issue. . . . Put the "bad" tires to the rear and ordered two oem tires. I am awaiting 2 new tires of the same oem (one to be warranted the other self pay). The f/b store, where I purchased the lifetime alignment, tells me you can check a belt problem by cross rotating the tires. Until that test is completed, they cannot consider replacing a damaged tire under the warranty. Both tires are under the 12 month-2/32 depth warranty provided with my new car. I think f/b should cover the warranty on both damaged tires without any need to test for a belt issue. Either the ?bad? belt damaged 2 tires or an improper alignment damaged 2 tires. . Read more...

We had a euro tour tire from big o (serial #u9ytt2n3903 produced by cooper tires size 205/70r15 [this size is not listed on the tire section]) on the front of our Dodge Caravan. My son was driving on the freeway that had been completed approximately a year before so the freeway was in excellent condition. My son said that while they had our van they had not hit anything nor was there anything in the road. The cop who helped my son change the tire said my son had not hit anything. Both steel belts blew out. My son said the tire exploded! it blew out the wheel well, blew off the bumper,blew out the headlight, blew out some of the wiring and broke the bottle for the windshield wipers & gave the fender a fat lip. My daughter-in-law was the vehicle ahead & looked back just in time to see pieces of tire & van flying everywhere. Luckily the van did not roll. There was $1800-$1900 worth of damage to our van. Big o replaced the tire but when we sent it cooper, they said they believed the tire failed because of a probable impact. A cooper tire dealer & the big o dealer in pocatello both told me they felt the tire was faulty. They did not believe the damage to the tire could possibly have resulted from impact. Everyone except cooper thinks damage to the tire indicates it actually exploded.

Extremely slippery tires (goodyear invictas) on Dodge Caravan when it rains.

We purchased a 2000 Dodge Caravan with goodyear regatta 2 tires on it. Over the last 6 months we have had 3 blow outs on the highway. The last broke the back molding of the car and blew the gas cap off.

While the vehicle was parked, the consumer saw that all four tires were cracked. Please provide tire information.

The left rear tire on my Dodge Caravan blew out and ripped while driving on the interstate. This was a scary situation because had there been a lot of traffic there would have been a serious perhaps fatal accident. This is the second tire to have been damage within two weeks. I believe the tires are defective. I would like an investigation done. I also don't feel safe driving this car for fear of an accident involving bad defective tires. I also would like to have my tires replaced at no cost to me because the damage was not may fault. Please help me resolve this problem.

On 22 April 2002 at approximately 5:35 pm while driving on I-10 west near lordsburg, nm my van started to vibrate violently. I assumed it was uneven pavement however when I slowed down the vibration diminished but did not cease. Not sure what the problem was I exited and stopped for the day. The next morning while inspecting the car I noticed the passenger side rear tire was coming apart (badly). I had the damaged tire changed and the others inspected. The other tires appeared fine. The tire was torn complete off the rim, the tread were in excellent condition, photo available. (dot number: pdkc hkdr2 tiresize: 205/75-14).

The right rear goodyear tire was torn completely off the rim (goodyear conquest 205/75-14 dotpdkchkdr239). Nlm.

Van has a folder of repair work 2-3 inches thick, and has had tire failure on the freeway, but I do not have the receipt avail. At this moment.

While coming down a hill left front tire started smoking. Took to dealer, and they said that consumer should not drive vehicle.

I've had a half dozen customers' Caravans with goodyear conquest tires that I've caught in time to avoid any blowouts. These tires are slipping belts, and the treads are separating. The worst case was one 1998 Caravan with 35k miles, and 3 of 4 tires were about to let go. (steel belts breaking through tread around 1/2 circumference of tire) I don't believe air pressure to be an issue here!!( dot number: tire size: 215/70/15? ).

Experiencing loss of air pressure in all four tires on a 1999 Dodge, Caravan; original equipment, p205/75r14, dot # unavailable. Vehicle taken to dealer, and goodyear center, and both refuses to help consumer on this matter.

Received recall notice in the mail (#97v200000). Had contacted dealership. Informed tires not available, and do not know when they will be. Will try another dealership.
