Tire Sidewall Problems of Dodge Caravan

The contact owns a 2000 Dodge Caravan equipped with goodyear weather handler LS tires, size: 205/75r14. The contact stated that another driver informed him that the front passenger tire was flat. The contact examined the tire and noticed that the inner sidewall was punctured. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and new tires were ordered. The contact also stated that the same failure occurred on two separate occasions. The manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. The tire failure mileage was 16,813. The vehicle failure mileage was 109,473. The VIN was unavailable.

I purchased a set (4) goodyear assurance fuel max tires that were installed in August 2011 on a 2010 Dodge Caravan se. After driving less than 25000 miles on them in just under 6 months the driver side front tire failed in a snow storm. There were no signs of a puncture in the tread nor did I hit a pothole. Unfortunately, the tire sidewalls shredded because I had to drive a distance to get to a safer place to pull over. Before having the tire replaced by goodyear, which I had to pay for, I had the damaged tire inspected by the service department at a local Dodge dealer. Less than 2 weeks later, the rear tire on the driver side failed. The weather was not a factor as it was unseasonably warm in ohio for January. Again, there appears to be no signs of puncture damage or other tread damage. I rotate my tires every other oil change which due to the amount of miles I drive is usually close to every other month for the rotation. The date of the first tire failure was January 19, 2012 and the date of the second tire failure was January 30, 2012.

Tire kingdom told me that the fromt left tire was showing signs of separation was advised that at highway speeds, the tire could come apart. He also said it looked like the sidewall was separating from the other three tire. All 4 tires showed similar issues but lleft front was most critical.

3 of 4 tires that are on my vehicle developed cracking and eventually failed on the sidewalls in a 4 month period. The fourth looks as though it may fail soon. They are all goodyear allegra tires about 3 years old the tread looks almost new it is the sidewalls I am concerned about.

We experienced a sidewall blowout of a bridgestone turanza el42 (21565r16 98t) on our 2003 Dodge Caravan (only 20,800mi) when I drove to the home. When I check other tires. I found a same problem on another tire --- few cracks on the sidewall.

We have had 5 goodyear allegra tires blow out there sidewalls within 14 months. This incident happened in a 45 mph zone. Vehicle has been checked for alignment after each incident mechanical says vehicle has no mechanical problems.

Sidewall of tire blew out for no apparent reason. The tire had less than 16,000 miles on it and was inflated per Dodge's recommendation. I still have the tire and it shows no sign of a puncture in the tread. I e-mailed goodyear with a complaint but have yet to recieve a response. The Dodge Caravan handled very well after the blowout and was easily controlled.

The original tires on the vehicle (goodyear conquest) all have failed and none of them made it to even 1/2 of their rated life of 50000 miles, sidewalls displayed cracking due to possible dry rot.

The left front, right front and rear tires (goodyear) had a crack in the sidewall and were leaking air causing the vehicle to pull to the left while driving. Nl.

The sidewall aboue the rim ruptured about half way around the circumference of the left front tire, which caused an immediate loss of air pressure, resulting in failure. (performance radial g/t p215/65r15).
