Tire Tread/belt Problems of Dodge Caravan

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Caravan equipped with yokohama avid s33 tires, size: 225/65r17. While the vehicle was parked, the contact observed that the front driver and passenger side tire threads began to separate. The vehicle was taken to an independent tire shop where it was diagnosed that the tires needed to be replaced. The tire manufacturer informed the contact that the tires were made to last between 2,500-30,000 miles. No further assistance was provided. The dot number was unknown. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was approximately 28,100.

Alleged separation of tire (rubber separation from steel belt) under normal operations. I am trying to find an indepent third-party to determine the matter. The tire seller claims that the damage to the tires is the result of impromper front-end alignment. A different service claims that the damage is the result of manufacturer defect, and not merely from misalignment. My concern is that if these tires are defective, then the ntsb/ntsa needs to be informed.

While driving, a noise was heard coming from the rear of the vehicle. The steering wheel started shaking uncontrollably. The driver was able to maintain control of the vehicle and pulled over. Tires had less than 10k miles. Dealer again refused to honor replacement warranty, claiming tire was abused. These are load range e tires, on single tire axles, never more than rated caps. Goodyear, conquest tires on Dodge, Caravan, 1996, size 215-65-r15, original equipment has given consumer problems. First tire, back left tire, went out about 4 months ago. Then, a few months later other three went out all at one time. Took vehicle to a gas station to get tires repaired, and attendent told consumer that he needed to get new tires because lining was not in good shape. Steel belt failure.

Consumer was checking goodyear eagle tires, p215/65r15, and noticed tread was starting to separate, goodyear replaced both front tires, however both rear tires consumer was charged for even though they too showed signs of tread separation.

Orginial equipment on a 1996 Dodge, Caravan 1995, tire size p215/65r15, dot number m3t247x395, and tires have 49 thousand miles on them. 1 out of the 4 tires blewout when driving 60-65 mph. Left rear tire tread peeled off 12 inch section, tread was flapping, three other tires have devoloped bubbles around the tread. Tires were inspected and noted there was 50% of tread left. The right rear tire blew out too.
