One problem related to power train driveline has been reported for the 2000 Dodge Dakota. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Dodge/Chrysler 9. 25 inch rear differential failure. Retaining clips for the clutch pack of the true-trak differential fall out. The metal parts get chewed up by the ring and pinion and cause the rear end to fail. This is a very common problem as I researched the problem and found hundreds probably more of the same problem.
