While driving with cruise control engaged and going up a hill, vehicle goes past 3rd gear into 2nd gear, races up to over 5000 rpm which resulted in a collision. Took vehicle to dealer and they adjusted the speed control linkage, but problem reoccurred causing loss of control. Speed control linkage adjusted again, problem has not reoccurred since.
