Multiple occurrence: car will stall while driving, losing brakes. The lights on dash will start flashing wildly and the wind shield wipers will start going on its own when turned off. Car will not start back again for a long while. The air system will not work-no heat or air conditioner, just stopped working. Very dangerous situation, car is unsafe. I'm not sure how it has a high rating in safety.

After receiving my car from the dealership the engine light came on so I contacted them about it and he hooked it up tp machine told me to watch for the light again and let him know. I dont drive my car much so it was about a week later when I noticed the engine light again so I took it to oreilley's and the code p2096 which is fuel to ratio which has been a problem more then I can count. My car always smells like gas fumes that's why I try not to drive it unless I can keeps windows down because the smell is very strong. I was driving today and it kept stalling and when ii would start to go from a dead stop once it shifted into 2nd it would jerk real hard like the transmission is messed up again. The light of course comes back on after they clear ut out and it may have same code or it may be different each time. I am tired of risking my life and others because no one wants to do anything about this problem I've had for 6 years now and have so many odi complaints with NHTSA and complaints with fca I could have my own car complaint website. I would love to have them take my car in for testing of quiality of cars and prove to everyone this was a lemon car no if, ands, or butts about it. There is 1 in however many cars that are lemons and this is one of them. 550 days in the shop being fixed that many times that for more then an entire year my car was being worked on. Should that be enough or is someones life gonna be what opens eyes. I've got ,more documents to show the many many problems I have had and have passed them along to my attorney so if something happens in result of this unsafe car there will be action taken.

Car spontaneously stalled in highway driving. Seems to be a known issue. 2013 Darts were actually recalled over the issue. Incredibly dangerous. Dodge should be required to recall the 2014s just like they recalled the 2013s.

2014 Dodge Dart purchased new. Was driving vehicle on city street and came to stop and car just stalled on me with no warning which was very scary. Vehicle would not stop stalling so took to dealership and the technician said it would cost at least a thousand to take car apart as they believe it is a internal engine problem. It sucks cause now my car is out of warranty and by doing some searching looks like this is not a new problem to Dodge but nothing was ever done about it. My car is in great condition with only 60,000 miles.
The car stalls while driving at below highway speeds, eg crossing an intersection in suburban new jersey. The engine cuts out, random messages on the information center appear, and the drive must coast to a stop and restart the car. It's unpredictable and intermittent, with no obd code to help dealer diagnose or replicate. The cause is presently unknown despite dealer effort.
On numerous occasions I have gotten into my vehicle, started it and drove off. Now, if I do not let it warm up for a few minutes and get in and start it and take off, it will stall out when I slow down or come to a stop on a few occasions this has happened leaving my driveway on a blind hill, almost getting me hit in the drivers door. Yesterday, 2/12/2020, this again happened and it stalled out on me two times, once while turning around leaving me sideways across the road. It has happened at very busy intersections, it is just random. I feel it needs to be looked into. I did look it up and see numerous people are reporting the same issues. Last time this happened was on 2/12/2020 while leaving my driveway each time, the car was in drive when it stalled and pulling out of my driveway or intersection.
Every morning after I start my car I drive down the street and it stalls mid traffic. It does it multiple times. I have to drive around my neighborhood til vehicle stalls 4-5 times then drives ok. Safety issue. I have noticed that some of the cars have been recalled but not mine.

Car continues to stall in the mist of driving. My car has stalled on me in the middle of the highway twice this year while myself and daughter was in the vehicle barely getting hit by other vehicles. Something needs to be done. I pay too much for this car to have myself and child at risk everyday.

After the car sits in the hot florida sun for about 8-10 hours from morning to about 2:30-3:00 the car starts fine and then I start driving and when I slow down to come to a stop, the car stalls. Then it starts back up again when I push the start button. This happens in florida summer, not during the "winter" months.

Car has issue shifting between neutral and gears while driving. While in drive and acceleration is added car stalls and will occasionally burn clutch shifting between gears as if in neutral. If any acceleration is added car will rev as if in neutral. This happens at all speeds 20-30% of the time and appears to be getting worse. When braking to a stop the clutch burns 20-30% of the time when down shifting and fills cab with smoke. At complete stop entered drive and let off of brake. Engine accelerated to 3k rpm's then grinded gears trying to automatically shift into the appropriate gear. After grinding abruptly grabbed gear and functioned again. Acceleration from complete stop, car stalls before finding gear.
While at idle speed car revs up then down and revs up . . While accelerating car stalls like it's in neutral. . I was on street.

"takata recall" I have a 2015 Dodge Dart with 55,000 miles on it. I have had some issues with it stalling while stationary. Now on 2 separate occasions it has stalled while going 40+ mph. This could be very dangerous it this happens with traffic around me.
I have a 2016 Dodge Dart sxt that I bought over a year ago when it had 20, xxx miles on it, it now has 46,xxx miles on it, it does the weirdest thing, I will be driving it and it just dies and doesn't want to start back up until a couple minutes later, it is embarrassing and a traffic hazzard to be stalled in the middle of an intersection or at a stop light, it has been doing this off and on since I bought the car, it is very dangerous, it wasnt until recently that I realized that this is happening every time that my oil change percentage is at 25% or below, so I googled the problem I am having and it is a common issue with these cars , they are consuming oil in between oil changes to the point the engine is 1 to 2 quarts low and a sensor detects that and is stalling the engine to protect it, does this car not have an oil light to detect when the oil is low? how is the way they have this set up legal? they need to recall these cars and fix the engine before someone dies !.
Tl the contact owns a 2016 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that her niece's vehicle stalled in the middle of traffic and while making turns. The car stalls and shuts down while driving. Driving it traffic on the highway and having the car die is very unsafe trying to get off the road.
Car stalled while driving on a on ramp to the freeway. I pulled over and tried to start it. It sounded like it was trying to turn over by itself for a good 10 seconds. When it restarted, after releasing the break my car thrust forward. Then started to spuber like it wanted to stall again. At that time 3 lights came on on the dash. . . The check engine, stabilization and another I've never seen. Was real close to a Dodge dearer where I bearly made it to. When I asked the person about the tigris light coming on he told me that means get it in ASAP! something seriously wrong is with the vehicle. the car has just over 30k miles and I know it's still under warranty.

Vehicle stalls while moving for no reason, several dash lights come on.
Car keeps stalling on road and not starting. This is an issue that needs to be rectified. Several others have reported the issues as well as far back as 2016. Dodge needs to do something on behalf of customers to clear this horrible safety hazard.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled periodically while driving various speeds without warning. The contact pulled over, restarted the vehicle, and it resumed normal operation. Recently, while attempting to place the vehicle into park, it continued to move without warning as if it were in neutral. The contact had to apply the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. The key would not eject from the ignition because the engine was still in neutral; however, the contact was ultimately able to drive the vehicle home. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 19v293000 (power train), but the contact was unaware of this prior to the failure. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
The car just will randomly stall. No indication it is going to do this. This car is unsafe. I am to the point I hate driving it. I took it to shop and everyone says nothing is wrong with it. This has happened multiple times. I have only owned the car since 5/19.
While driving my vehicle, it stalled. While driving! completely shut off. Lost powering steering, brakes. Battery light came on, but lights and radio was still on. Tried to start it up multiple times until finally at the fifth try it stated and drove like nothing ever even happened.
Twice while driving my car has just completely stalled and lost power. Both times I was slowing to a stop. Other times it feels as it it will stall but doesnt. It has caused two minor accidents at a stop sign due to the stalling. The other event happened at 50,0000 miles in June. I took car to dealership, no codes came up.
The car stalls while driving and does not restart immediately. The dealer changes my oil every 5,000 miles. It appears to stall every 3-4,000 miles. The solution for the dealer now is to bring my car in every 1,000 miles. This seems excessive and is not a solution to this dangerous problem? sometimes the engine turns off when I'm in traffic or traveling on a busy street. This has been happening since I purchased the car new in 2014. It's only been serviced by the dealer.
Tl the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. While driving at any speed, the transmission shifted into neutral. When this occurred, the vehicle would sometimes decelerate. The contact called marino park Dodge Chrysler (5133 w irving park rd, chicago, IL 60641, (773) 777-2000) and was informed that there was no remedy available for the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that they did not have a remedy. The contact was placed on an email list. The failure mileage was 83,000.
